Screw drivers
Used a thin screwdriver to lift out the burned out light assembly. Unplugged the old light unit and installed the new one. Plugged in the freezer and the light worked. Easy as pie.

When I pulled the compressor relay out to check it, it disintegrated in my hands. Replced relay for $4.14.

Evaporator freezing up. Noticed Ice cream not frozen solid

Notice ice build up on the panel in front of the evaporator coil. Unplugged freezer and removed evaporator panel. Plugged unit back in and checked fan, coil "snap switch" and heater element, all seemed to check out good. Found defrost timer stuck in the freeze position, causing frost to accumulate over the evaporator. Manually rotated

defrost timer to the 30min defrost cycle and system went into defrost. Ordered defrost timer and installed (part arrived in 3 days). Freezer works great again. Too bad I ended up throwing 400 dollars worth of meat away. the fix was very simple. Will definitely use PartSelect again. Thank you.

Decide how to snap end cap into door.
Put one end on door.
Fasten bar, then with other end cap
in the bar, snap it into the door.

The tabs on the shelf end broke off.

Removed the broken shelf ends and installed the new ones. Then installed the assembly on the freezer door. Trick was to put the long end of the tab in first followed by the short end. The up end was reversed on the opposite shelf end.

Needed a freezer key

Defrost Timer Stuck On Defrost (Again)

I went online to a you-tube video to assess the problem and watch the repair. Ordered the part on sunday before christmas and had it christmas eve! Easy 10 minute repair. Four screws held the cover on. Two screws held the timer. Unplugged the old timer an replaced. Put all the screws back and . . . . Done! Easiest repair I've ever do
