FUF17DPERWH General Electric Freezer - Parts

This key is for freezers. If your key will not lock or unlock the freezer door, check it to see if it has been bent or damaged. If it has been damaged, you should look to replace it to avoid damaging the lock. The key should engage the locking mechanism with ease. These keys are sold separately, and should be stored somewhere safe and not next to the unit.

This is a run capacitor. It is 220 VAC (volts alternating current) and is used in conjunction with your freezer. The thermostat senses that the heat near the cooling coils has reached the desired temperature.

Connects into the Capacitor. This part boosts the compressor and shuts off as soon as the motor gets up to the required speed.
