Very simple - removed the plates that cover the end of the handel, then removed the screws and the broken handle. There were four screws - did a top one, then a bottom one, then the other top and bottom one. Made sure they were on tight and put the covers back on. Really proud of myself!

  • Dmitriyev from Ruther Glen, VA
  • Really Easy
  • 30 - 60 mins
  • Nutdriver, Screw drivers
1st Turn off power. Removed freezer racks. Removed access panel to bottom back of freezer. Disconnect the wire harness to fan motor. Use 5/16 nut driver for removing fan motor from support. Removed fan blade from motor and put fan blade on the new fan motor. Bought new fan blades, but new fan blade would not work on new motor. Spring moun t would fit on new fan blades, so I use the old one. Installed everything in reverse. Put everything back. Place thermometer in freezer. Freezer cooled down to -10F in 10 minutes. Great save on this one because I bought this freezer off of Facebook marketplace. Saved me $250. Good thing I know about fixing refrigeration equipment. Easy day.
