This metal and plastic item is fitted in the right side plate, securing the pinion yoke components. The position holder 6500Hcl is sold individually. Spool Pinion

This is a genuine OEM part. The Abu Garcia spool pinion is constructed of plastic, and is sold individually. This item is compatible with Ambassadeur fishing reels. The spool pinion is fitted next to the ball bearing in the spool assembly, securing the axle. A screwdriver and a pair of pliers are needed for the repair.
