We ordered the part, which was a key, tied it on the freezer door handle, locked the door and voila, the problem was fixed. (We still have the children. :-)

Moved the refrig. out, removed the four screws that held the lower access panel in place. Disconnected the power cord. Removed the retainer clip wire and pulled the relays from the compressor socket. Separated the relays and installed the secondary relay on the new starter relay. Reinstalled the starter relay assembly into the compressor ... Read more socket. Plugged the power cord in and listened for the compressor to cycle on. It cycled on and continued to run. Turned the power off and reinstalled the retainer clip wire. Reinstalled the access panel and plugged the power back in and left the refrig. run overnight. Checked temperature and also started the ice maker. Everything was normal by morning.

My husband removed the old hinge, by taking out the old screws and the old hinge and attached the new one, by inserting the new hinge and the new screws. It was as easy as 123.

After earlier determing that the starter switch was at fault, I removed the cardboard lower back panel, shut off water to the ice maker, removed water line. The plug to the compressor containing the switch and capacitor was held on by a spring clip, removed clip pulled wires from old switch (Here needle nose pliars are handy as the spade ... Read more clips on the 2 wires have their own locking clips) replaced switch and all wiring, tested unit and problem solved.

Had to drag the full freezer out from the wall to expose the name plate, got the Model # and S/N and found the key on the partselect website in minutes. It was cheap so I got two. Other than FEDEX not knowing my address correctly, when I finally got the key it worked fine. Not a problem anymore.

Add the new basket in the side of the original, it is easier to access items from below the baskets.

My issue was water leaking from the door. I thought it was the gasket, so I removed the gasket and the entire panel off of the door. There was water behind it that had soaked the cardboard seal, so I left that front part off for over a week to let it dry. We determined between us and our two toddlers that perhaps the door hadn't been prop ... Read more erly closed enough on a number of occasions, so before I bought a $100 gasket, I'd try making sure the door was shut with tape, turning the freezer on and seeing what happened. There was no water after a few days, so on another user's suggestion I purchased the $15 key and twist tied it to the freezer door. Now I am locking the door after use so we won't have leaking water any longer.

Took out the screws(8mm). Used pliers to close new hinges. Re-installed the screws with as large washers as would fit(to hopefully prevent the hinges from cracking at the screw holes like the originals did). I like this supplier, part was easy to find, correct part, shipped fast, price was good.

Unscrewed the lower back cardboard panel and removed it. Unplugged refrigerator. Reached in and took the metal piece off that keeps the starter from coming off. Pulled the starter off the compressor. Basket was way too small and would not work even though the picture with the grid on the website looked like it was very close to the correct size.

Don't use the grid to determine whether product is the correct physical size!

remove 2 screws from thermostat cover on side of freezer pulled temp nob off then removed temp control and copper temp sense rod by pulling out then unhook wires then reverse procedure to put back together

Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

open lid put baskets in. it should also be noted that we originally ordered two baskets and do to some ones over sight we only recieved one. We called and to our surprise the other basket was sent out that day.
