FEP340YW0 Roper Range - Instructions

First I unpluged the stove, then I removed the two screws that hold the heat element in place. Then I pulled the heat element out a couple of inches and disconnected the two wires.
I just plugged in the new element wires, pushed the element in place and replaced the screws.
It only took about 10 minutes at the most.

Turn off the power, removed the two screw (needed a wrench to help turn screw driver at first). Pulled the element forward to expose the wire connectors. Removed connectors from the old element. iInstalled new element to the wire connectors (slide on), screwed plate back into oven. Turn on power and tested

Easy unplug appliance take racks out unscrew two screws gently pull out element unplug two wires put new one in reverse .

Unwrapped package. That was the hardest part. Inserted into the little spot on top of stove. Tested. Worked great!

I read other repair stories before I completed the instillation and let me tell you that in it's self was a great help.

Very easy to install two screws in the front but you must first remove the wires behind the oven otherwise you may damage the wires by pulling them through.

Super simple, and the part arrived less than 48 hours after buying it online. I turned off the breaker to the oven and unscrewed the burner at the bracket holding it to the back wall of the oven. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires.
Then reverse the process and bingo ...done

Pop old one out and new one in

I took the old wires and plug off and replaced it with the new block it works fine

remove burned out eye, replaced with new eye.new eye does not fit exactally correct onto splash pan as point on end of steel " rod " not pointed enough to slip into mate on splash pan

I removed the block, cut and spliced the wires to the new block and installed the burner. I used the new style block kit and saved about $30. It worked great!

Shut off power to the stove.
I removed the screw that held the block in place. Then I lifted the top of the rage to get to the wires. I cut the wires from the old block and stripped back the insulation.
