EW3LGF65GSG Electrolux Range - Instructions

I looked up the problem on YouTube and it said it was the oven temperature probe was going out. So I ordered the probe and it was shipped out, received within two days. Took out a few screws on the back of the stove installed it, put it all back together and it’s working perfect.

I changed the temperature sensor and tried again. The stove again went on temp runaway and it was suggested to replace control board which is out of stock.
I will have to toss out this stove and buy new as you and no else has this part.

I was able to find the most common reason for my oven's symptom by searching online. I searched for the part I needed but was not confident that I would get the correct part until I looked on partselect.com. Went online to find replacement rack. Didn't want to spend the money for a rack I didn't like. Besides the range is 11 years old. Still in great shape. Opted for the simple oven rack.

removed screws from back cover then pulled elect. plug apart. removed screw pulled out probe installed new probe put cover back on very easy only problem was that it said that 88% of time would fix the problem. will this time it didn't work oven still over heating.

Unplugged range; removed back cover; removed old oven probe. Installed new probe; replaced cover; connected power and turned on range - that simple. New ones fit perfectly. Take a minute to bend the frame straight. Then and I used oversize screws on the replacement parts as the drop had stripped out the screw holes of the frame.

Very easy to order,part was delivered promptly and installation was easy.I unscrewed a few screws and lifted the bottom panel out and put the new one in.

Screw heat shield back down. Turn power to stove back on. You’re done

I pulled the oven away from the wall, unplugged the cord, removed the back panel then removed the screw from the old sensor.

First we replaced the wiring harness because a multi-meter said it wasn’t getting power. That was only partially true. The wiring harness was burned looking so we just kept it instead of sending it back. When removing the screws that hold the igniter, the screws stripped. Not my first time so I very slowly removed the screws but they still stripped. I had to cut both with a small hacksaw but be careful not to damage the bracket that is welded to the burner. After successfully removing the screws had to go get 5/16 steel self tapping screw ... Removed both oven racks the removed two screws in back. Lifted rear of panel until front lip of panel was free. Installed new panel in reverse order. I was recycled the old steel panel at our local recycling station.

Very simple. I removed the oven racks, loosened the two screws that held the old panel in place, lifted out the old panel and replaced it with the new one, then tightened the screws to hold the new panel in place. It took no more than 10 minutes.
