Undo a few bolts unplug power and unhook water lines then recut all lines and push in to new value

The u tube instructions were exactly what is needed. I had to cut off the old plastic pipes. My pipe had threaded connectors. Pex push on connection is super easy. Pull valve out and remove plastic hoses and electric connections pay attention to color of pipe and electric connection. Mine were color coded. Had to cut off thread connectors. Reattach in reverse order or do one at a time. Check for leaks.

Write down where tubing goes, wiring is color coded.

I put the new unit up to the old one to see exactly how it goes, took the 2 screws holding the unt off...Took the 3 water lines off with adjustable wrench, put back exactly the same way and it worked with no leaks

Lift broken bin out and place new bin in place push down to make secure fit.

Removed exterior housing, sliding old unit forward to release. New unit went in easily. Caution wires don't get pinched.

The part was easy to install and solved the problem! We had ice within hours. Thanks PartSelect!

After sending PartSelect the info to their troubleshooting dept. about my ice maker, they recommended replacing the ice solenoid. I did so at a cost of $102. No change, turned out replacing the ice maker(did not purchase from PartsSelect) was the issue and works fine now.

Just follow the instruction that come with the valve. Easy.

I read other suggestions trying isolate auger motor shaft with pliers while turning bar drive. needle nose pliers could hold the shaft. bar drive just would spin. so took the whole ice box assembly out

remove the old one and replace with the new one and yes it was that easy. All of the lines and wiring connectors were color coded

Following previous installation instructions was very useful. Would add that the nut driver needs to be 1/4 in and to release the water lines from the valve body, simply squeeze the blue ring toward the valve and pull on the water lines at the same time. Simple fix!

We followed the online instructions and tah-dah it was working...

Removed screw on Mullion so that the replacement hinge can slide onto the small plastic bracket on the door. Slid the mullion on the hinges and screwed in muliion (1 screw).
