ESS349 Caloric Range - Instructions

The Drip Pans are a cinch to replace with no tools necessary. The best part is that the Web Site is extremely easy to use, and the parts arrived two days after being ordered.

simply remove the burner take out the drip pan and bowl individually. Install the new one and replace the burner. no tool was used.

Removed old rusted drip bowls and put in the new ones. Very easy to do and needed no tools. It made my 25 plus Jenn Air look new again!

Put in the new drip pan -- which are really nice shiny ones.

Just remove old bowls from range top and put new ones. That is all ... just super simple! :)

pulled out stove and disconected power. removed back panel and disconected wires and pulled element out from front of oven and installed new element.this stove is thirty years old. P.S. part was orderd thursday afternoon and it arrived the very next day. BEST SHIPPING SERVICE EVER and this was the week before christmas.

new drip bowl fit perfectly and was a snap to install.

burner was shorting out replaced part works great

loosened the screw holding the block pulled it out toget to wire cut it about 4 inches long followed the inst.with block kit and it was a breeze. burner working fine now should have did it sooner.

We turned off the power, removed the two screws on the little plate in the back of the element. Pulled the element out, removed the two wires (they just clip off/on). Reversed the process, attached the wires, slipped back into the holes, replaced the screws, turned power back on. Works perfectly.

I removed the burners and then the older drip bowls of the cook stove--and then I put on the new drip bowls and put back on the burners. My mechanical skills were sufficient for the replacement of the drip bowls.

Cut the old wires off, removed the screw holding the clamp, installed the new parts. Problems I encountered were the wire nuts. They were too small for the wire gage of the replacement part and the original oven. I had larger wire nuts in my workshop. (a) I took out (and threw away) two stained 8* chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range; (b) ti put in two new 8" chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range. I'm pleased that I was equal to the task.
