Read more y has two flat clips that "catch" the wiring from being pulled out of the handle. Simply take a small flat bladed screwdriver and slightly lift those two flat "catches". That will release the rest of the wire harness. Discard this wire harness and prepare to install the new one. First, slide the long wire portion down into the handle cavity until it stops. Second, press the other wire harness portion over it's two clips until you hear/sense that the two flat "catches" have secured this portion of the harness. Reattach base and secure with the screw you previously removed. Plug in and test by looking for Power-On light.
