DU2CA-25 Maytag Dishwasher - Instructions

First removed the end cover and clip on the end of the rack slide. Used a flat head screwdriver to push in the clip and carefully pried it out. Then using the same screwdriver, pried up on the rack roller clip attached to the dish rack. Once clip was free of the rack, slid the rack roller off through the front of the slider. Slid the ... Read more new rack roller into the slider and snapped the roller clip onto the dish rack in the same place the old one was. Carefully twisted the plastic end cover and clip back onto the rack slider. Job complete. The trickest part of the job is removing the rack slider end cover.

Used ascrewdriver to bend the metal rail that the roller rolls on. The part that needed to be bent holds the end cap on. Once bent, the end cap pops off. The the old roller can be removed and the new roller instsalled. The rail then needs to be re-bent.

Removed the end cap from the rack guide.Removed broken roller and stud.Slid on new rollers and studs attached to dishrack reinstalled end caps.Total time less then 15 minutes.Easy job.

I first removed the rail end caps by bending open the rail ends. They easily come off. The wheels slide out of the rack and the part snapped on to the rack removed. I used a screw driver to pry them off. New wheels are slid into the rail and snapped to the rack. End caps put back into place and rail tips bent back. Very easy.

It would have been nice, not being a dishwasher repair man, that when the new parts came, there were a set of instructions included on how to install them. There must have been a special tool that Maytag uses to repair these items, and I ended up having to break the pieces off in order to install the new parts.. this was a shame.
... Read more r />I installed the rollers that allow the top tray to slide in and out of the dishwasher so I can lay glasses and pans on that shelf... There are 2 plastic white pieces in front of each slide that must come off in order to slide out the old parts and in with the new.
But I had to twist each plastic side real hard and break them to get the new parts in.. now I have a mess...
