DU2916XM0 Whirlpool Dishwasher - Instructions

The part arrived the next day with regular postage, outstanding service.

Put on new door, making sure the spring was set to flip the detergent door open in order for the detergent to properly do the dishes

Had to clip the part onto the upper rack. It was a little tight at first, then all of a sudden it just snapped in. Voila, as good as new.

Tried using my hands to bend back the locking plastic connectors enough to get them onto the metal upper storage rack;was afraid of breaking the connectors so I used my utility tool needle nose pliers to give me leverage. This time I was successful. Believe me,it was frustrating for what seemed a long time. No,for me it was not easy.

Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher - there will be water very near the motor and other electrical components. I first scooped and towelled all the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher. The drain valve can be accessed from the bottom front of the dishwasher without pulling the unit out from under the counter. There were 4 screw ... Read more s to remove the 2 bottom metal panels. Next use pliers to loosen and slide back the hose clamp connected to the drain. Have a towel ready and pull the drain hose off the white check valve. The check valve can then be removed by unscrewing it - you may need to use pliers. Put the new one on and everything back together.

Very easy. Slide the dishwasher out a few inches, install spring per the good instructions, and slide the dishwasher back. Service was amazing. Part arrived just over 24 hours after I made the on-line order. I will use Part Select for all my future appliance parts needs.

Unsnapped the old rollers and snapped in the new ones. Worked great and easy. I was very pleased that the parts came so soon as well. Thank You, Ms. Cason

Turned off water and power. Used small nut diver to remove two upper screws from kick-plate, and loosen two screws in lower key slot of kick- plate. Removed kick- plate. Used plier to compress snap ring and remove hose to washer. Pulled off electrical connector. Used 5/6 wrench to remove copper water inlet. Used nut driver to remove t ... Read more wo screws holding old valve. Once out removed the water connecting elbow from the old valve and installed it on the new valve. Reversed process to reinstall. Didn't even have to remove washer from the counter. My 25 year old washer is working like new again.

I simply looked at the remaining spring to see which notch it needed to be attached to. I went in very well using a long needle nose plier. Works great.

Removed cover and broken spring ,installed new spring and cover.Did it all in less than 10 minutes

popped off the old rollers + tracks; then snapped on the new ones; as my granddaughter would say "easy peasy lemon squeezy". Took hardly any time at all. :-)

A VERY easy repair! I simply pried off the old wheel assemblies with a screw driver and popped on the new ones. I was a little concerned about the new ones fitting correctly as the dishwasher is over 25 years old, but after a week they still work fine. screw it in then hook up the hose.

Received new rollers promptly as ordered. Removed the old ones by snapping them off and simply snapped the new ones on. Took less than 5 minutes and job was a complete success. Wife happy and I am safe for now

I removed the rack and then pushed down on the old rollers to remove them from the rack. I then installed the new rollers in the same location.
