This wan't a repair. It was simply a part replacement for a part that was easily accessable. I was more pleased at the fact that I could find the part considering how old the dryer is.

Finding parts for very old appliances (that otherwise are working great!) was very much appreciated...lint filters are very very important and this one has served it's useful life. Thank you for such an amazing parts inventory, good prices, and FAST delivery!

Pulled the old filter out of the door of the dryer and then removed the new filter from the shipping box and took the new Lint filter out of the packaging and then slipped the new lint filter into the lint filter holder and started up the dryer and away we went on our happy way. Thanks to all of you guys and gals at PARTS SELECT.

Took the old filter out and inserted the new filter which was a near perfect fit on a 36 year old dryed that is still kicking! Delivery of the part was less than 24 hours after ordering over the phone. Thanks1

The part received had about 6" of the screen not bonded to the frame. I used clear epoxy and a 1/8" dia. dowel wrapped in saran wrap. after applying the epoxy to the screen/frame interface, the wrapped dowel was clamped to the frame. After the epoxy cured I removed the fixture and peeled off the saran wrap. The fix was a complete success ... Read more and was undetectable. Just removed old tray and installed new tray.

I was completely surprised that in less than 24 hours the new part was at my door!
This is the kind of service every company should strive to supply to the customer,and the delivery fee was regular 3-5 day delivery.
A job well done !!!!

1. Open dryer door.
2. Remove old lint filter.
3. Put new filter in it's place.

Just put it in place. The hardest part was to choose the model number closest to the one I have (since it wasn't listed). PartSelect.com showed a list of similar models and I was able to choose from that. Luckily I got the right one (wrong color, but it fit!).

There were no tools required. I simply pulled out the old filter, compared it to the new filter, for size and shape. Then simply placed the new lint filter in place of the old one.

Removed old lint filter and replaced with new one. Was impressed with the fast delivery.

I did not have an actual repair. I simply replaced the lint filter that dropped into the receptacle. However, what I want to mention is that the part was available as old as the dryer is and there was a nice photo to scale of the replacement part so that I was sure I was getting the correct piece.
