DLL2600LBLAW Hotpoint Dryer - Instructions

pried old switch assembly from front of machine with screw driver. removed 2 electrical connections. shorted terminals to verify problem. inserted wiring terminals to new switch. verified operation and then pushed switch assembly into machine opening.

We ordered a new lint filter with white frame from Part Select. Had to take the dryer outside and blow all lint out that had accumulated in the dryer. We then vacumed everything out and brought back in house and put in new lint filter we ordered and used the dryer today and it works beautiful. Saved us from having to buy a new dryer. Than ... I checked the power (OK) and removed the four screws that held the timer/controls (upper panels) cover. This revealed a schematic for the dryer that enabled me to determine the door swich was probably the culprit. I removed the old lint filter and put the new one in! Grateful to find this item for my "antique" dryer.

Just changed lint trap by removing old one and replacing new one.

Simple - took out the defective filter and replaced with the purchased part. The hardest part was figuring out the right lint filter. The extensive info on PART SELECT was very helpful.

It was very easy. Pop out old, connect new wires and done! Can't say enough as to how fast and easy getting the part from this company was. Ordered the part later in the day one night and on the second day the part was there. Outstanding service.

Removed filter as for cleaning. Replaced with new filter. NO TOOLS REQUIRED!

I wanted to be sure a replacement would be available when the need arose. The dryer might be 30+ years old. Within a very few minutes I found the filter and placed an order. It arrived in 2 days. Now I won't have to worry about it in this aging lifetime.

Easy as steps 1 & 2, remove old filter & replace w/ new.
It fit perfectly which was my main concern, as I could not tell from picture if the length was correct.
I am very pleased w/ product & it works just fine..

I called customer Servioce and they helped me with the corrfect part number

I just replaced the old filter with the new filter and I wonder why I didn't order a replacement filter sooner.
