er just a few seconds. Removed the 2 wires from the old thermostat, removed the 2 screws that fasten down the thermostat, replaced with new thermostat and reapplied the 2 screws; cut off burned part of wire and resolder to new wire connector; reconnect both wires to new thermostat and reinstall MW housing cover. MW works good as new again. Thank you PartSelect!
