unplugged power cable / unhooked front vent / unscrew the monitor panel / slide up to dislodge / take the fuse out and put in the new one in / fuse is located right in front of monitor panel once its open might be covered by wirings / you can unpin the cables from the panel to make it easier for you just make sure to put it back properly ... Read more or you can have somebody hold the panel for you. Installing the fuse is easy waiting for the parts is crazy......

We had an accident on Christmas day, while using the convection option on the microwave, the glass plate and ring assembly slipped down from where it was temporally being stored, and shattered into many pieces.I was really lucky, we had a older GE microwave that we scrapped out. My wife and I decided to keep the glass plate and rotating ... Read more ring, when we tried the parts it wouldn't turn. I decided to try a new rotating ring considering the glass plate would of cost quite a bit more. When the part came, I tried the ring and as I said I was really lucky, it worked perfectly. The ring from the old microwave made the glass plate sit too high and consequently wouldn't turn. It wasn't really much of a repair, but it all worked out great, the parts site was easy to use and the parts came when they said they would.

took old tray out put new one in. works great now.

One small Phillips screwdriver and one fuse puller (I used cord). Unplug unit. Remove the two screws on the vent face plate. Remove the one screw on the panel assembly. Gently let hang. Pull the fuse located on the upper left wall. Replace fuse. Reassemble.

the online instructions were ideal - just unscrewed the right-hand screw (the only screw) and replaced the bulb by inserting gently but firmly)...getting the old bulb out was a pain, b/c it shattered in my grasp (with little bits of glass all over the stove!), but that has nothing to do with the purchase and installation from this site - ... I looked at the exploded pic on your web site to find the location of the sensor. Next I removed the cover by unscrewing 15 screws then swaped the sensor and re assembled! Works great! Fixing it my self I saved at least 150$ and did not have to wait all day for a repair man who probaly would not have the part on the first visit.

Removed one screw, removed cover, and replaced lamp. Pretty straightforward.

Just placed it in microwave

We had our kitchen remodeled; new cabinets, countertop, range, refigerator, microwave, dishwasher and floor.

The cabinets around the microwave were custom made; it looks great but it hid the screws, which had to be unscrewed to remove the grill so the interior light of the microwave could be replaced.

The light was replaced, the microwave was raised back into place and all is well. I replaced the bulb while my wife was out of town. When she returned she noticed that the microwave was nice and clean; she was NOT aware of the fact that the bulb was replaced!

Opened cover, pulled out old bulb, inserted new one, put cover back on. I was out of town when bulbs arived, my wife put it in. She said it was easy.

Easy to repair. One screw, remove bulbs, replace with new ones, secure screw.

Ordered the part. 2 days later part arrives. Took me 30 seconds to install the part. Sorry it was not more eventful.

1. Open the cover over light bulbs with screwdriver.
2. Pulled out blown bulbs.
3. Inserts new bulbs from Partselect.
4. Tested new bulbs
5. Closed the cover over light bulbs with scvrewdriver.
6. Threw out old bulbs and packaging material.

Now, was that easy or what!
