REFRIGERATOR EVAPORATOR FAN
Part #WR60X32071
A freezer that stays cold while the refrigerator section becomes warm may have an airflow problem. This replacement evaporator fan helps circulate chilled air from the cooling coils to the rest of the appliance. Replacement may be needed if the fan stops turning, runs slowly, or makes repeated clicking, scraping, or humming sounds. Before changing the motor, check for blocked vents, heavy frost, loose wiring, or a fan blade rubbing against ice. Unplug the refrigerator before removing the freezer panel. Keep tools away from refrigerant lines, note the wire positions, and install the motor as shown in the model-specific service diagram. Professional service may be safer if access is difficult.
