Removed plastic covers and used a nut driver to remove the two screws that held the heater assembly to the freezer coils, disconnected wires from old assembly, connected wires to new assembly, replaced mounting screws and replaced plastic covers and secured them with the original screws. All in all, a fairly easy operation.

first I ordered parts that didn't work. the return process was painless and I found the part I needed, which just popped right in!

Shelf cracked when less than year old. and has gotten progressively worse thru the years.
Replaced in seconds , no tools required .

My repair was simple. Just put the shelf in the holes in the freezer. The AMAZING thing was how quickly I recieved the part after placing my order. I placed the order at about 3:30 pm on a friday checked the box for ground shipping and the part was at my door the next morning. I think that was a mistake, but I was impressed.

After reading the trouble shooting section of the owners manual, I determined, without much difficulty, that the temp control was defective. Read more alled it with no problem, in about 10 - 15 minutes. This was a very easy job, just remove and replace three wires snap the unit into place, and screw the cover on. Tip: I always use you tube or another source to get some instruction, just in case I'm not as smart as I think I am!

My wife had the cover changed before I got home from work. Perfect fit for a replacement part!

You will need a 1/4" nut driver or socket & extension.
Remove the back panel of the freezer compartment.
Pull of the wires, remove the fan assembly and replace the fan motor.

The parts came the next day after ordering and I didn't pay for fast shipping. I removed the drawers and the old lid-shelf and replaced it with the new one; also added an extra shelf. I love the new items and they fit perfectly.

Remove power from the unit. With short length #2 Phillips loosen and remove the two(2) screws on the control panel located center top of the refrigeration area. Examine and note the routing of the temperature probe (Silver colored flexible wire) take a picture for later reference. Remove the old and replace with new unit. route temperature probe like the replaced unit. Reverse the steps and reinstall the control panel. It is a good idea to also purchase and replace the defrost timer.

This was so easy. Got the model number off the refrigerator door. Internet searched and found this website. Ordered the part. Waited maybe 3-4 days for it to arrive. To remove the temp sensor.2 Phillip head screws not remove the cover inside fridge .the temp control knob cover.removed that and unplugged switch.installed new switch.reinstalled cover.

first i removed all the screws inside the freezer compartment took out theback and bottom to get to the evap motor,unpluged the wires and removed the evap motor ,removed the fan from old unit and put it on the new unit them mounted it to the back wall of the fridge,,, and put back top and bottom

Replace temperature control. That fixed it. Also, removed plastic bag obstructing air vent in freezer which added performance. Fridge works good now.

The repair only required removing nthe old cover and installing the new one. What I was really surprised about is the time for delevery.
