CTT14CYXPRAD Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

The parts came the next day after ordering and I didn't pay for fast shipping. I removed the drawers and the old lid-shelf and replaced it with the new one; also added an extra shelf. I love the new items and they fit perfectly.

You will need a 1/4" nut driver or socket & extension.
Remove the back panel of the freezer compartment.
Pull of the wires, remove the fan assembly and replace the fan motor.

This was so easy. Got the model number off the refrigerator door. Internet searched and found this website. Ordered the part. Waited maybe 3-4 days for it to arrive. first i removed all the screws inside the freezer compartment took out theback and bottom to get to the evap motor,unpluged the wires and removed the evap motor ,removed the fan from old unit and put it on the new unit them mounted it to the back wall of the fridge,,, and put back top and bottom

The repair only required removing nthe old cover and installing the new one. What I was really surprised about is the time for delevery. I ordered the part on Friday morning around 11 AM and it was delevered by Fed Ex at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning. After removing all items from the broken top, I removed both drawers and crisper top. I then slid the new top in place and replaced the drawers which easily slid into the grooves in the underside of the top.

I slid the old crisper drawer cover out, and slid the new one in. Then I respaced the other shelves, making room for the third shelf, and put the new shelf in. Apart from the time it took me to unpack the boxes these parts came in, and to remove my groceries from the fridge, the "repair" itself took all of about 90 seconds.

First, I love that fact that my new fridge piece came in the mail in 2 days! I didn't order it as a rush, but I'm so glad it came so quickly! The installation could not have been easier! new cover slipped right in place, however, the way the new one is designed, the hump in the front rubs the bottom of the door. you have to make sure you push the door shut or it will remain open .

I took out the old shelf and popped in the new one. Took 1 minute or less. The delivery was in 2 days! Amazing experience! My refrigerator feels brand new.

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
... Read more />3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.
