CTHYCRLRWH Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

My wife and I followed the installation video & put the gasket in hot water. We struggled to get it started in the second corner on top. Gasket had cooled down so wasn't wanting to go in the slot. I finally got the bright idea to use a hair dryer to warm the gasket as we pushed it along.
That helped us finish the installation.
N ... Read more ot sure the new gasket is the complete answer to the leakage at the top of the door (forming ice crystals). The MAGNETS ARE WEAK compared to my 1 year old GE top freezer refrigerator!
My newer refrigerator "snaps" shut.

We thought we would have to replace our frig, but found the part online and it fit perfectly. It's slightly different than the original because it is stronger. All we did was remove the items from the tray, unsnap the broken one and slide the new one into place.

i found that the door was to low was the problem shimmed the hinge on the bottom brought the door up so the gasket was ok so isent the new gasket back to you never attempted to change so i dont have any thing to tell you about instalation difficulty carl phillips

Using plyers Pulled old switch down and out. Put new one in and pushed new switch up into position. The switch plugs into the contacts, no wiring needed. Worked like a charm. You saved me 200 dollars GE repair bill. Thanks

Had to e-mail GE for electrical schematic. Checked voltages to compressor. Jumpered compressor to see if it would even come on. Found bad run capacitor. Fixed.

Removed Ice shelf,
Remove rectangle cover by removing the two screws and lifting straight up.
Pulled fan off slowly.
Removed two hex screws holding motor bracket.
Remove cover.
Remove two hex screws holding remaining bracket from fridge.
Pull wire off motor noting where they were plugged in.
Pull apart b ... Read more rackets holding motor and remove motor noting how the motor and brackets fit together.
Reverse to install.

We removed the old Drawer Cover and replaced it with the new one. The Refrigerator Door had trouble closing. So we inserted the 2 plastic washers as described in the directions enclosed in the packaging. It was pretty straight forward and an easy fix. Thank you Hot Point and Part Select. all I had to do is remove the broken cover then replace the new one which only took about 2 minutes. It was so easy and it is a little more durable than the original one.

Removed the old pan cover, which lifts out very easily, and replaced with the new one. I had to install the two plastic washers, that came with the kit, at the bottom of the refrigerator door around the hinge pin. To avoid having to take the door off to install the washers, I cut a piece out of each washer big enough to fit onto the hinge ... Read more pin. I first lifted the door up and placed a support underneath and then I snapped the washers onto the pin. This was done so the door would close properly. Installation instructions were enclosed with the shippment. Installation was less than 15 mins.

Connected the 2 wires and pushed in the switch until it clicked.

The vegetable drawer cover had been broken for awhile, we are on the process to sell our house and finally decided to search for the part. I am very thankful for Part Select.com it recommended a compatible part and it looks great. Wish we bought it sooner.

Took 3 days and the Vegetable Drawer Cover arrived unpacked it and took the old cover out did a little cleaning and installed the new Drawer Cover. That easy.

take new out of box. Pull out two drawers out of refrigerator. lift out old drawer cover place in new and replace drawers

Took the cracked vegetable drawer cover out and drawer. Replaced with new vegetable drawer cover, put drawer back in.

remove 2 drawers , remove old cover by lifting out. unpack new cover , slide into place . perfit fit . return drawers , frig door closed ,there was not need for any adjustments . wonderful. couldn't ask for more. it did not take three minutes. took longer to wipe down frig . p. s. very fast shippi ...
