At this time of the year our beach fridge is always full of food and drinks. Every time we want something it meant leaving the door open for extended time whlie moving things left, right and center. When the new shelf arrived I removed the food and drinks from the existing two shelves and moved them closer together. I then slipped in the ... Read more new shelf and reloaded the food. Suffice to say the fridge stays open less and we are able to get at things without moving others. I wish I had thought to do this before.

Refrigerator is not cooling. Light and fan working. Changed the capacitor.. Still not cooling. Back to discovery mode.It may be the timer
Certainly not PartSelect's fault. They have great service.

Unplugged frige, removed top shelf, pulled broken fan blade off. Replaced with fan blade just purchased from PartSelect. Very simple repair. Orderd and recieved the right part.

Removed plastic covers and used a nut driver to remove the two screws that held the heater assembly to the freezer coils, disconnected wires from old assembly, connected wires to new assembly, replaced mounting screws and replaced plastic covers and secured them with the original screws. All in all, a fairly easy operation.

I placed the new part on the end of the freezer door guard and firmly pushed it in until it 'clicked'. Easy as pie! The more difficult part was to remove the broken off part inside the opening of the freezer door hwere the new bar end was to be inserted. I finally used thin nose pliers to reach in and grab the broken off part.

I used pliers to pull lightly on the head of the switch, while I inserted a small flat head screw driver into the base of switch and gently worked around the edges to free it from the panel.

Went on YouTube and it had excellent instructions for removal and installation

Pulled the door off easily and noticed that the spacer on the Center hinge was ground down to nothing and that a small screw in the bottom plate of the door was half way out. This screw would catch on the cabinet Center hinge bracket and stopped the door from closing. Problem was solved by tightening the screw and putting in a new "spac ... Read more er" that kept the small screws from contacting the Center hinge bracket. The freezer door now closes like new.

Shelf cracked when less than year old. and has gotten progressively worse thru the years.
Replaced in seconds , no tools required .

The old switch was hard to remove. Thinking that I may have to loosen the wires I used a socket wrench to remove a clamp. This was unnecessary. In the end the switch did come out using a large size screwdriver. The problem was that the expanding plastic tongue is not visible from the ouside so you have to try to feel your way around. ... My wife had the cover changed before I got home from work. Perfect fit for a replacement part!

The parts came the next day after ordering and I didn't pay for fast shipping. I removed the drawers and the old lid-shelf and replaced it with the new one; also added an extra shelf. I love the new items and they fit perfectly.

You will need a 1/4" nut driver or socket & extension.
Remove the back panel of the freezer compartment.
Pull of the wires, remove the fan assembly and replace the fan motor.
