Piece of cake and now I get loads of ice.

i watched the free video and then made the switch my ice screw had 4 bolts instead of three that was the only difference used the screw driver to loosen the straps on the connection plug and that was it easy as pie in about 30 minutes i heard it drop a load of ice it beats filling ice trays all the time thank you partselect for the free v ... Followed the video, very simple

Took old part out , put new part in. Was so easy thought we did it wrong. Ice maker working great, have lots of ice now. Thank you. Colleen

Ice maker was side mount instead of rear mount as shown in previous insructions. Removed one screw and slide ice maker forward. used flat head screw driver to undo the ice maker plug. The ice maker came right out. Removed old ice maker fill cup and put it on the new ice maker. Slide the new ice maker into place and used the same screw to ... Read more secure it. Pluged it in and turned on the ice maker. Had new ice in a couple of hours. It comes with a round plug to square plug adapter, new fill cup and fill tube, all of which I didn't use.

Only needed to remove one screw, slide unit out and disconnect the power cord. Theb reverse the above operation to install the replace ice maker unit. Quick and extremely easy....

The adapter made the cord a bit long but other than that it was great!!!

Wathched the video and it was done in less than 15 min making ice again no problem
