CTEY16EPERAD Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Simple install. .

Unplugged the appliance for safety. Removed two 1/4" screws that held the assembly in place. Carefully removed the wire guard that retains the glass shield. Unscrewed old light bulb and replaced with new part. Reversed the steps after cleaning glass cover.

At this time of the year our beach fridge is always full of food and drinks. Every time we want something it meant leaving the door open for extended time whlie moving things left, right and center. first I ordered parts that didn't work. the return process was painless and I found the part I needed, which just popped right in!

My repair was simple. Just put the shelf in the holes in the freezer. The AMAZING thing was how quickly I recieved the part after placing my order. I placed the order at about 3:30 pm on a friday checked the box for ground shipping and the part was at my door the next morning. I think that was a mistake, but I was impressed.

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
... Read more />3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

Easy

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Easy. Unpacked the two shelves and installed them. No brainer. The speed of delivery however was exceptional. It seemed as if the order arrived here right after I submitted it! Really unbelievable! Keep up the good work!
