CSXW27CLL Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Since I ordered the right part thanks to the website, installing was easy. I just put the part in place and screwed the two screws into place. It took less than 2 minutes.

Trust me when I say that I am not a very handy person. It took only a matter of seconds to remove the broken slide rail, took 2 screws out. I found the part easily on the website, placed the order and the part was in my house in 2 days. We replaced the glass shelf, slid the draw into place and now it is as good as new! A very easy repair!

Remove the 2 mounting screws, remove broken rail, install new rail and install 2 screws. I was finished in about 2 minutes.

Before disassembling the parts need to replace, I use my digital camera to get all the different angle of the item so I have the full reference to asswmble the new one

Removed front cover, removed rear cover careful to note position of spring assisted parts, used pliers to unscrew auger rod end cap, removed and soaked in Lime Away fixed and movable blades. Reassembled using diagram on website for guidance.

Pay close attention to how you disassemble everything. You might even want to take a picture. I taped all the screws right where I unscrewed them, to make sure they were replaced in the right section. Also use the picture diagram that on the computer.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Very easy to repair-Went online-Found diagrahm-Ordered part-and presto it was fixed.
Very good schematic to go by. If you can read you most likely can fix it.

The disassembly and reassembly was straightforward but the parts diagram was very helpful to help you get it back together. Make sure you get the convexity of the clip that retains the clear plastic barrel to the auger pointing in the right direction. I did not replace the plate so I cleaned it and painted it with epoxy paint before I reassembled.

Emptied the old draws and removed the old sliders. Took time to screw the new ones in. The draws are not as nice as the original ones.

Replaced auger and front helix kit.

Removed broken light cover (that was held together with tape) and replaced with new part. The most amazing thing was that I was able to locate the part for a 21 year old refrigerator

I saved about $15.00 by ordering the part on line. It came in about a week and was a super easy process. Since it was just missing there really wasn't anything that needed fixing. just installed it where it belonged and all was good. Great and easy experience.

The replacement part came with a one page instruction sheet. Following those instructions I cut the two hoses on the old resivour and removed it. I then cut the hoses on the new resivour to desired length (all inside the refrigerator). Using the two couplers provided with the new resivour I hocked the two hoses together and tightened th ...
