CSX27DRSMAD Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

I had no idea how to get the parts easily so i search on web , saw parts select.com,i read main folio of the site.which seems to me very reasonable.just one call and they delivered the part.nicely advised me if i need technical support to fix it but i was too confident and i did it.

Determined that the little door that opens to allow full size cubes to fall was not opening. If you open freezer door, hold door switch in, select cubes and push in the lever that the glass pushes in you should hear the solenoid lift open which opens the little door. Mine was doing nothing. Removed ice bin and then removed icemaker motor ... Read more /solenoid section from back of freezer by disconnecting two wire harnesses and one screw. Found that solenoid smelled burnt and could see that inside of the solenoid was swollen out of round and burnt. Simple to replace.

Replaced dispenser flapper

First, I had to remove the face plate where the ice and water was dispensed remove 4 screws holding the electrical circuits, disconnect circuits ,remove 2 screws holding soleniod and one screw holdin crank assembly. repace parts and screws.

Removed the 4 screws off the old bucket cover and place the cover on new bucket. Just that simply. Can't beat the price!!!

Removed ice tray and set on kitchen counter .One small phillips scredriver to remove broken tab.
Attached replacement shield with screw, replaced ice tray. Probaly total of 5 to 10 minutes to find scredriver, do the repair & replace screwdriver where it belonged. Took more time to place order then do repair. Add a couple of minutes ... Read more to unpack.and some more time to drop off cardboard box at recycle center.

Removed the ice from tray and removed screws from face of ice bucket. Reinstalled screws and face on new ice bucket. Inserted new ice bucket in position.
That's it all done.

Because of the way it broke I was not sure how it was attached until I read reply's from others who had the same problem. The instillation tip was greatly appreciated.

The part that I needed was no longer availabe on other sites. Found Partselect and they had the solution, only took 4 screws to replace auger-bucket assy now ice dispenser works good as new!!

Followed the instructions and replaced the door recess.

Super fast replacement, and the part was sent to us FAST and WELL-PACKAGED and REASONABLY PRICED! Thankyouverymuch!

Pulled the outter cover off, removed the electronic board, replaced the flapper and put it back together again.

the ice bin was a cinch with the complete part ordered from Partselect.com. Just had to replace the old faceplate onto the new part put the ice bin back in the freezer and voila. Didn't really need to replace the thermostat but did anyway with the defrost timer and then the thing started keeping temperature again. Thanks a bunch! I ju ... I neeeded an ice bucket for a refrigerator that was given to me. I wish if I could have oder the whole part as a whole.So, this is what I did.
