CSX27DRSAAD Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Watched à video provided at your website. Removed te cover then removed 4 screws holding the control panel' snapped out the old flap and inserted the new one.

I followed the video instructions. They were clear and consise. I removed the trim ring and controls. Them removed the housing and flapper. I did notice a small burr in the plastic chute and foam insulation. I trimmed this off with a utility in hopes this burr caused the flapper to warp. Your Video really made it easy, showing the actual replacment of the part. However I did have one problem, which was I could not unplug the panel just by pulling on the plugs. A locking catch is on each plug so I just moved the panel out of the way.

Followed video. Changing flap was not difficult but did not fix the problem.

I watched the Utube video, repeated the process at home while awaiting the part, and installed the flapper door in about 15 minutes after it arrived--piece of cake. I followed the video instructions to the letter and it was very easy and a total success. I believe I would have had problems but for thr video demonstration which was very clear and straight forward in a simple manner. Thanks for the prompt delivery of the part and the help installing it.

Took the paper clip, pressed in through the holes on the bottom of the ice dispenser panel. Removed the four screws. Loosened the panel and removed the wires. replaced the flapper door. Then reversed the process. Your video was VERY helpful except for the paper clip. Had to get that off another web site.

Removed frame, unscrewed the electrical panel, and popped the flapper off. Installed new flapper. Replaced the electrical panel and re-installed the frame.

Removed control panel by inserting small screwdriver in the 3 holes underneath to loosen. Remove 4 screws holding circuit board . Unplugged 3 connectors. Removing circuit board gave access to flapper. Removed flapper by unclipping. Installed new flapper and reversed disassembly procedure. This was 2nd time in 2 years I had to replac ... Really easy- turned off ice maker, powered down appliance briefly. Removed ice maker by removing 3 screws with 1/4 nut driver. Unplugged ice maker from power supply. Removed and replaced solenoid arm assembly. Reversed steps and whammy - ice cubes dropped.

Replaced auger and front helix kit.

Removed ice select control unite from freezer by removing 3 nut screws holding unite in place. Disconnect 2 electrial plug ins.Remove unite from freezer and place on table for easy work space. Remove 4 nut screws holding Solenoid & Arm. Replace with new Solenoid & Arm. Reinstall back in freezer and now we have cube ice again.
