CSX27DRAWH Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Removed the 4 screws off the old bucket cover and place the cover on new bucket. Just that simply. Can't beat the price!!!

Removed the ice from tray and removed screws from face of ice bucket. Reinstalled screws and face on new ice bucket. Inserted new ice bucket in position.
That's it all done.

The part that I needed was no longer availabe on other sites. Found Partselect and they had the solution, only took 4 screws to replace auger-bucket assy now ice dispenser works good as new!!

the ice bin was a cinch with the complete part ordered from Partselect.com. Just had to replace the old faceplate onto the new part put the ice bin back in the freezer and voila. I neeeded an ice bucket for a refrigerator that was given to me. I wish if I could have oder the whole part as a whole.So, this is what I did. Transferred ice supply to another freezer. Removed ice maker unit from freezer and studied assembly. Removed the 5 screws holding the bucket in place while keeping track of which screw went where. The only positional component to remember was the motor control pivot retainer. Wiggled and fiddled to remove the old bucket. Wiggled and fiddl ... Read more ed to put the new bucket in place. Replaced the 5 screws, dumped the reserved ice back into the bucket, and returned the ice maker unit to the freezer.

Before disassembling the parts need to replace, I use my digital camera to get all the different angle of the item so I have the full reference to asswmble the new one

Removed front cover, removed rear cover careful to note position of spring assisted parts, used pliers to unscrew auger rod end cap, removed and soaked in Lime Away fixed and movable blades. Reassembled using diagram on website for guidance.

Pay close attention to how you disassemble everything. You might even want to take a picture. I taped all the screws right where I unscrewed them, to make sure they were replaced in the right section. Also use the picture diagram that on the computer.

Ordered new ice bucket w/auger. All I had to do was change out the cover (four screws). Easy repair; works great.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Very simple replacement of complete assembly. I debated replacing individual parts that would have taken considerable effort. Ordered the complete assembly and it was simple to replace.Removal of face plate by removing two Philips screws and reusing them to hold face plate on. Jim

Very easy to repair-Went online-Found diagrahm-Ordered part-and presto it was fixed.
Very good schematic to go by. If you can read you most likely can fix it.

The disassembly and reassembly was straightforward but the parts diagram was very helpful to help you get it back together. Make sure you get the convexity of the clip that retains the clear plastic barrel to the auger pointing in the right direction. The metal plate that that comes out with the assembly seems to rust as fast as the au ... Read more ger, so you should just order that when you order the auger. I did not replace the plate so I cleaned it and painted it with epoxy paint before I reassembled.

remove ice bucket and replace broken augar
