CSX25GRBAWW Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

I had no idea how to get the parts easily so i search on web , saw parts select.com,i read main folio of the site.which seems to me very reasonable.just one call and they delivered the part.nicely advised me if i need technical support to fix it but i was too confident and i did it.

The video to replace the flapper looks easy, howerer the first step is to remove thestic cover of the icemaker. In my refrigerator model (as oposed to teh one shown n teh video) teh coved if firmly attached and goes under the refrigerator external plate so I was never abel to take it oot (so step 1 failed).

Cut the line inside the regiferator behind the bin and used the tube union to attach new 5/16" tubing to run to the solenoid valve assy in the back of the refigerator. Location of the valve assy makes connecting very difficult. But was able to complete repairs.

1. Use skewer to press plastic tabs under control panel, 2. Remove control panel and unplug solenoid, 3. Unscrew dispenser assembly and solenoid screws, 4. Press in tabs on lamp and remove assembly - unplug, 5. Replace lamp assembly, 6. Replace solenoid assembly and fasten scr ... Read more ews, 7. Replace flapper. 8. I looked at the photos of the valves posted on the PartSelect website and selected what I thought was the right one. It came in the mail within a couple of days and it was not the right one ... the electrical connectors were very slightly different. I went back online and determined that I had better telephone the service number as ther ... Read more e were four valves that, upon further inspection, looked pretty much the same ... and it's good that I did! The service guy looked up my refrigerator model number and told me I needed part XYW even though I thought part KLM looked more like the old valve. The part came the next day - amazing shipping time - and I installed the new valve and life is good!

First, I had to remove the face plate where the ice and water was dispensed remove 4 screws holding the electrical circuits, disconnect circuits ,remove 2 screws holding soleniod and one screw holdin crank assembly. repace parts and screws.

Determined that the little door that opens to allow full size cubes to fall was not opening. If you open freezer door, hold door switch in, select cubes and push in the lever that the glass pushes in you should hear the solenoid lift open which opens the little door. Mine was doing nothing. Removed ice bin and then removed icemaker motor ... Read more /solenoid section from back of freezer by disconnecting two wire harnesses and one screw. Found that solenoid smelled burnt and could see that inside of the solenoid was swollen out of round and burnt. Simple to replace.

Removed the 4 screws off the old bucket cover and place the cover on new bucket. Just that simply. Can't beat the price!!!

I had the main part of the handles but needed the tail handles and screw to put it together. Received the parts and basically screwed in four screws and snapped on the handles. Presto I had a great free refrigerator for barely any effort. Thank you for being here.

Removed ice tray and set on kitchen counter .One small phillips scredriver to remove broken tab.
Attached replacement shield with screw, replaced ice tray. Probaly total of 5 to 10 minutes to find scredriver, do the repair & replace screwdriver where it belonged. Took more time to place order then do repair. Add a couple of minutes ... Read more to unpack.and some more time to drop off cardboard box at recycle center.

I neeeded an ice bucket for a refrigerator that was given to me. I wish if I could have oder the whole part as a whole.So, this is what I did. I order the Auger and Ice Bucket Assembly.Later, I realize when I received the part that I also needed the Cover bucket assembly and the Ice storage door.Now I do not know if when I get the rest o ... Read more f the parts if it also comes with the screws that hold the cover bucket on or if I have to order the screws separate.

the ice bin was a cinch with the complete part ordered from Partselect.com. Just had to replace the old faceplate onto the new part put the ice bin back in the freezer and voila. Didn't really need to replace the thermostat but did anyway with the defrost timer and then the thing started keeping temperature again. Thanks a bunch! I ju ... Pulled the outter cover off, removed the electronic board, replaced the flapper and put it back together again.
