CSX25DRZAAA Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Watched the video from your site and followed instructions, extremely easy after that.

Removed control panel by inserting small screwdriver in the 3 holes underneath to loosen. Remove 4 screws holding circuit board . Unplugged 3 connectors. Removing circuit board gave access to flapper. Removed flapper by unclipping. Installed new flapper and reversed disassembly procedure. This was 2nd time in 2 years I had to replac ... I followed the video instructions to the letter and it was very easy and a total success. I believe I would have had problems but for thr video demonstration which was very clear and straight forward in a simple manner. Thanks for the prompt delivery of the part and the help installing it.

Your Video really made it easy, showing the actual replacment of the part. However I did have one problem, which was I could not unplug the panel just by pulling on the plugs. A locking catch is on each plug so I just moved the panel out of the way.

I followed the video instructions (very helpful) and used others comments for removing the control panel. For the latter I used a small allen wrench to carefully wedge the bottom two indents (look from below panel edge) slightly up and forward to release the panel. I then had full access to the flapper and removed this carefully with the pliers so as not to damage the piece it was attached to (Dispenser Door Recess Crank?). The rubber outer flange on the otherwise plastic flapper was very irregular for approx. 1/4 of the circumference and thus did not seal. So far it's been one week and no more frost build up or frozen water dispenser line.

Easy to take apart just keep track of all your screws and parts most inportant of all are the 3 claw like and spacers that are inside the clear round part at the end of the ice bucket these pieces only turn in one direction if you put them on backwards or in the wrong order you will tear up your ice bucket so pay close attention when taki ... Read more ng it apart and reassembling it. One think that might be helpful is to take some pictures of the ice bucket before disassembly something i wish i had done prior to taking it apart. Some people download instructions off the internet but i felt like i could do it with out help well good luck

I had read from your sight, to simply cut the lines at the reservoir and tape the new lines to the old. Then use the old lines to pull/feed the new lines to the coupler/valve. This worked great and greatly decreased the time it took to install. I spent more time moving out the frig and cleaning up all the dust (probably should do that ... Read more more often)

Read more splay Rod,making sure the spring tension was correct and positioned the correct way when I reassembled it. I was able to look at my pictures and assemble it back the correct way. I put the ice bucket assembly back in the refrig and it works great. No more rusty Ice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my refrig is 18 yrs. old and I never had to replace it, took a little long to remove trim piece on the outside. After that repair went smoothly. I still have problem with water collecting inside on the bottom of the freezer, might have a leak somewhere. Ice maker is functioning correctly.

Replaced flapper, which was in surprisingly good condition. Major part of repair was removing a lot of mold incurred from long term seepage of room air into the ice channel. Read more ior cone of the solenoid with alcohol. This removed quite a bit of rust and some mold. Reinstalled solenoid, replaced flapper and it works just fine. May need to replace solenoid if problem recurs. Certainly worth $37.00!

Followed on line instructions. No problems.

Really easy- turned off ice maker, powered down appliance briefly. Removed ice maker by removing 3 screws with 1/4 nut driver. Unplugged ice maker from power supply. Removed and replaced solenoid arm assembly. Reversed steps and whammy - ice cubes dropped.

Removed ice select control unite from freezer by removing 3 nut screws holding unite in place. Disconnect 2 electrial plug ins.Remove unite from freezer and place on table for easy work space. Remove 4 nut screws holding Solenoid & Arm. Replace with new Solenoid & Arm. Reinstall back in freezer and now we have cube ice again.

Took the paper clip, pressed in through the holes on the bottom of the ice dispenser panel. Removed the four screws. Loosened the panel and removed the wires. replaced the flapper door. Then reversed the process. Your video was VERY helpful except for the paper clip. Had to get that off another web site.

Removed frame, unscrewed the electrical panel, and popped the flapper off. Installed new flapper. Replaced the electrical panel and re-installed the frame.
