Took the stuff out of the door
Removed the door
Replaced the hinge
Put the door back in
Put the stuff back in the door

You may be thinking that I'm not much for words - but this was SO EASY that it doesn't warrant using more words than I did.

My 7-year-old son helped me - it was a fun father-son project.

After watching your instruction video and not wanting to shut down refrigerator and remove foods from door, I elected to lift the door and place blocking under it.The actual hinge replacement took approximately 10 mins. I would also like to say that I am extremely satisfied with PartSelects handling of my order and your promptness resending my order because of my goof-up with my own address. First called GE parts and they sent me the wrong one. PartsSelect sent me the correct part the FIRST time and was very helpful.

Removed shelf and vegy bin removed two screws replaced slide rail with new one and replaced the two screws and shelf and vegy. Bin and I was done. Ten mim. Tops

I first pulled the drawers out and unscrewed the broken slide rails from the fridge. I measured, ordered and replaced them with the new ones and slid the drawers back into the fridge. Very simple.

I was by myself so I took the entire Fridge door off. Took off the old hinge assembly and installed the new hinge assembly. The process took about 10 minutes and worked like a charm. Door closes like it did 15 years ago.

All I had to do what unscrew the old railing and screw in the new one. The only problem I had was lining up the hole in the railing with the hole in the fridge wall, then getting the screw into the hole - a bit tricky since the hole was recessed into the railing. But it was still quite easy.

First, I loosened the top hindge bolts about halfway. Then, I took the bolts out ofthe door and then took the door off. Next I took the bottom hindge off and put the new part on. Then, reassembled the door in reverse. However, I didn't tighten the hindges until I made sure to align the door to close properly.

The magnetic door strip will hold the door in place if the door shelves are unloaded.I removed the bottom hinge with the socket set and installed the new hinge.

Remoed bottom hinge and replaced broken cam riser. Replaced Bottom hinge.

Removed two screws from the top hinge, two from the bottom - replace and put back together. It took longer to remove the food from the door than it did to replace it. THANKS

Removed the broken ones with screwdriver.Easiest job ever!

Emptied contents from the door. Removed top hinge cover (one screw) and top hinge (two bolts.) Lifted door off and replaced broken cam riser on bottom hinge. Put door back on.
