CSK27DHXAAA Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Looked at the instructional video and read previous customer comments. Didn't have to dissassemble rear of freezer door. Access through the front once trim ring and circuit board removed. Could not have done it with out the video/and or previous customer comments. Part was shipped and received immediately. Repairs complete! No more frost ... I saved about $15.00 by ordering the part on line. It came in about a week and was a super easy process. Since it was just missing there really wasn't anything that needed fixing. just installed it where it belonged and all was good. Great and easy experience.

Very Easy, follow direction I the video.

I watched the how to video and followed the instructions. The entire repair took less than 4 minutes. Hardest thing was disconnecting the control panel.

I followed the instructions on the youtube video on the company web page. I removed the cover by hand, removed the exisitng flapper door and install the new door, easy as pie.

Followed the video directions. Spent about 5 minutes and I was done. Very easy to do. Problem with frost is gone. The video makes it easy to remove the plastic parts without any damage.

I am clueless around the house. But this was easy: Removed ice maker bin, fiddled with freezer shield to line up with the single screw hole that holds it in place. Use screwdriver to install shield with original screw that stayed in place after the original freezer mount cracked and broke. Put ice maker bin back. Done!

I watched the video on the PartSelect.com website and decided to give it a try. The replacement of the flapper was even easier than I anticipated! The old flapper was extremely warped and was allowing air into the freezer. I'm not sure how/why it was in that condition but I am happy to report that I have no more ice buildup. Thank you ... I simply ordered a new Ice bucket, removed about 6 Phillips head screws, removed the old bucket from the Ice door and replaced with a new bucket. SIMPLE !!!!!

used a flat screwdriver to pop off out side cover then remove 6 screws took off plate. Pulled off the flapper and replaced. less the 15 mins and fixed the issue

The trim piece covering the opening of the dispenser is the first and most difficult part of the disassembly. Take care when removing this piece that it does not break.

Removed the ice maker control panel and accessed the flapper door, easy switch out for new door and seal. The 2 year old warped seal didn't close and so ice crystals formed in the freezer - new unwarped part and Ta-Da no more problems :)

Popped off the front frame and front of mother board. unscrewed the assembly to be able to lift up to get to flapper. Lifted it up out of the the way ( wires are attached so it may take one other person to hold it up out of the way). Pop out the old flapper and replace with new one. Easy !

Watched the PartSelect video. Very simple and solved the problem. Very pleased with the repair and PartSelect.
