Watched PartSelect video and did exactly as video said. Had finished product in less than 30 minutes.6 bolts and one screw.

Followed the video to replace bottom hinge assembly. The only hiccup was that the video instruction was for the fridge side door, so there wasn't step by step instruction for dealing with the electrical connection at the top of door or the water line at the bottom. Removed top hinge, lifted door from bottom post. Removed post with nut driver/socket, removed corresponding bracket/receiver from door. Attached new parts to refrigerator base and bottom edge of door. Was careful to replace part pieces in the same order as original, and secured tightly. shimed the door up to its proper level. removed plastic cam from bottom of door with a socket disconnected the water line fitting and clamp. with a nut driver removed the hinge assy from cabinet being careful i sled the hinge assy off the plastic water line being sure not to kink the line, sled the new hinge assy back on the water line an ... Read more d mounted the new hinge assy to the cabinet and connected the water line back up and turned on the water and checked for leaks, all went well. place the bottom grill cover back on.

Followed directions in your video. Very helpful. Be certain to pay strict attention to how old part is removed. Had a little trouble replacing door on lower pin/hinge. Helps to have a little assistance. Good suggestion from another customer: get the kit.

I watched the repair video. Replaced the cam on the bottom of the door and the hinge pin. Now the door closes on its own, just like brand new.

replace the lower door hinge assy. and closer cam as a set.Only used a 1/4" socket and ratchet.The process was very easy without any problems.

The Hinge Cam Riser came as ordered and arrived in 1 day! The original riser was clearly broken in half. After installing the new one on the door hinge and adjusting it several times, the door closed a little but still didn't close all the way. Removed door with little or no difficulty. Only time consuming portion of repair was disconnection and reconnecting of water line to door. This difficulty was primary due to age of the unit. After repairing, I determined that the cam on the refrigerator was also damaged so ordered same part to replace the refrigerator side.

This was a Mother/Daughter feat. We viewed the video based on the bottom hinge assembly part that we had ordered. We did it exactly as shown and it was so easy. But while we had the door off we also had a chance to really clean the frigerator inside out. We were extremely happy that we were able to repair the frigerator oursleves and ho ... With my wife's help, we emptied the door shelves and removed the door to the kitchen table. The video and instructions for replacing the parts were 100% right. We probably spent more time cleaning the door bottom and gasket than actually changing the hinge assembly! The job went very smoothly and saved us from overspending on a repair ... Repair was exactly as described on U-Tube video. The whole process, including removing items stored on the refrig door, took around 20 minutes and involved only a screwdriver and one socket. Could not have been much easier. Dont know why I delayed fixing what had been a long term annoyance.
