made sure def. timer was operative. removed back panel of freezer section. found heaters bad, replaced elements also replaced sensor. I am 72yrs old so it took me longer than it should have,PartSlect send me the exact replacements parts that was needed. one day service

Connected the 2 wires and pushed in the switch until it clicked.

Gently pry out switch in door jam with screwdriver and pull both connectors off and put connectors on new switch then push switch back into the hole. Looked it up on the internet and video showed how to and also had link to new part, ordered and less than a week later the fridge is bright again. I have an older freezer also and it seems ... I started removing the switch by prying on the right side with a screwdriver, when it emerged enough I used pliers to finish removing it. I then unpluged rhe wires from the bad switch and pluged them on the new switch and "poped" it into the hole.

removed the inside fridge electrical panel and swapped switches

easy pry out, disconnect wiring, connect on new switch and press in switch.

Removed floor grate,romoved screw holding timer,push timer back,removed hex-screw holding bracket,removed ground wire.Removed connectors from old timer and put on new timer,pushed back new timer,mounted bracket,screwed new timer to bracket. Set timer to defrost at 11pm,put back floor grate.

Emptied freezes, turned off power, took floor of freezer out [4 screws ], took two screws out of fan mounts and replaces fan. Reassembled by reverse process. Simple

It is in an awkward location and that takes time to get yourself into position but once there the assembly is very simple and it is rewarding to be able to use the appliance again. Noticed the fan was not working properly and went online and found out that was the cause. I immediately ordered the part that night at 8:21pm and received the motor and fan blade the next day. I followed the instructions verbatim as others explained. I did it step by step exactly as instructed, The timing was almost exact no more than 30 minutes.
