CSC27HRBWH Hotpoint Refrigerator - Instructions

Solenoid pushing the crushed ice flapper was burned out. Solenoid was easy to find unplug and replace. I used the old piston which simplified things. Now works great

Removed the old ice bucket assembly and dumped the contents. Removed four screws from the face plate and reinstalled it to the new ice bucket kit. Back in business.

I saved about $15.00 by ordering the part on line. It came in about a week and was a super easy process. Since it was just missing there really wasn't anything that needed fixing. just installed it where it belonged and all was good. Great and easy experience.

Removed ice buscket from freezer, removed 4 screws holding front cover on, set aside old ice bucket, set new ice bucket in place and reinstalled screws, putback in freezer, done. Maybee ten minutes.

Really easy- turned off ice maker, powered down appliance briefly. Removed ice maker by removing 3 screws with 1/4 nut driver. Unplugged ice maker from power supply. Removed and replaced solenoid arm assembly. Reversed steps and whammy - ice cubes dropped.

Removed ice select control unite from freezer by removing 3 nut screws holding unite in place. Disconnect 2 electrial plug ins.Remove unite from freezer and place on table for easy work space. Remove 4 nut screws holding Solenoid & Arm. Replace with new Solenoid & Arm. Reinstall back in freezer and now we have cube ice again.

Replaced auger and front helix kit.

Since Parts Select was unable to cross reference to another part I myself checked out all other web sights and did my own cross reference. I found a matching compatable ice bucket number and bought that ice bucket from part select I got it quickly and put it in.

I simply ordered a new Ice bucket, removed about 6 Phillips head screws, removed the old bucket from the Ice door and replaced with a new bucket. SIMPLE !!!!!

followed the previous posts, loosened four screws on the front panel, attached panel to new auger and ice bucket, and was good to go. Excellent advice!

1) Unscrew the old ice maker from the ice bucket and remove. 2) Add the new auger and screw back into the ice bucket. 3) Ta Da. No more rusty ice cubes! The Ice schield you merely insert the tabs into the slots in the freezer. Parts all seem to fit fine

Ice bucket and auger came fully assembled. Just had to attach the face plate from the broken ice bucket assembly and slide it into the freezer. There were only four Phillips screws involved.

Removed broken light cover (that was held together with tape) and replaced with new part. The most amazing thing was that I was able to locate the part for a 21 year old refrigerator

The replacement part came with a one page instruction sheet. Following those instructions I cut the two hoses on the old resivour and removed it. I then cut the hoses on the new resivour to desired length (all inside the refrigerator). Using the two couplers provided with the new resivour I hocked the two hoses together and tightened th ... Read more em with a wrench. It took longer to clean the refrigerator than it did to replace the part. Instruction sheet was very helpful
