CS0415 Scotsman-Residential Ice Maker - Instructions

Removed lower vent cover and removed valve. Removed water lines and power hookups and attached to new unit. Approx. 15 Minutes total repair. Checked for leaks. Finished. Part select had replacement valve to my door within 24 hours. Great service and simple to understand installation instructions. Highly recommend.

I removed the two screws that hold the shield in front of the grid and put them aside allowing access to the grid. I then removed the two screws that hold the grid in place. I unplugged the connector and then pulled it out. I reversed the process to reassemble and powered up the unit. I now have ice again. This whole process probably ... Removed old assembly by disconnecting 2 wiring harness connections and loosening 2 screws with nutdriver. Installed new assembly using same process. Had ice in about an hour. Very easy.

Removal of old valve very easy and accessible, 2 screw/bolts for mounting, disconnect to electrical leads by hand, disconnect 2 plastic water lines with push/pull connectors and reverse order for installation. It was easy to remove the old grid and replace it with a new one.

I removed the inspection cover, removed 2 screws holding the control valve,depressed the realease rings on the water lines,unpluged the 2 electrical connections and removed the bad valve. Wires in cutter grid were broken and wouldn't freeze/cut ice. Replaced with the new ice cutter grid that came completely assembled. Put it in with a screwdriver in less than 10 minutes. Before I began I unplugged the electrical at the wall outlet. 1. Unscrewed the 4 mounting screws. 2. disconnected electrical at the motor. 3. removed the assembly. 4. mounted the new motor on the assembly as described in the instructions. Installed the assembly and reconnected the electrical. Works great, easy job!

No issues, easy removal and re-installation although the compartment was very tight for my hand and a 1/4" drive socket wrench. One installation suggestion however, pre-thread the 3 mounting screw holes on the motor housing first by screwing one of the scre ... This way you'll find it much easier to get start the screws given the very limited work-space behind the fan compartment.

I watched the film on installing and taking out. Step by step. easy.

Repair was so simple, I didn't even need instructions. Removed old fan with motor, installed new one, installed harness that converted plugs, done. Saved hundreds of dollars doing the repair myself.

I tried WD40, it worked for a day. Got a new part from PartSelect.com and was a good brand. Panasonic. Easy fix and works great. Saved a bundle. I priced a new fridge, no way, this was better. Thank you Partselect.
