Followed the instructions exactly as described on the Parts web site video, shut off power, removed old baking element, checked connectors, replaced with new element, turned power back on to the range. Repair took less than 15 minutes.

After noticing that our oven was not heating up, we talked to some other people and they said that we should try replacing the heating element. Read more g the range before doing this repair and so I got a little electric shock before I was finished. After getting shocked I did unplug the range before continuing with the repair. The best part is that my oven now works again with no problem. This repair couldn't be any easier.

Not really much of a repair story to tell. While using the oven one evening the baking element began sparking and appeared as someone was using an arc welder inside my oven. Read more schematics allowing me to locate the part I needed, the baking element. On that parts page I also found a very short, concise video illustrating "how to" change out the element. I ordered the part and received it rather quickly (a matter of days.) Following the directions on the video I had the baking element swapped out in about the same amount of time as it took in the video. Could not have been any easier.

My husband unscrewed the old element and pulled out the wires and took the old element off and reconnected the new element and screwed it back in in less than five mins. Your video explained how to do it. The service was great. The price was good and it got here fast. I ordered it on Sunday and it was here by Wed.morning.

I was able to get on the website, find the part, and order it. It was delivered the next day. I followed the video and it was as easy as the video demonstrated that it was. As a single mother of two, being able to handle this on my own without the expense of hiring a repair person was a huge thrill! Thank You!

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

I am a 62 year old woman. All I had to do was unscrew the retaining screws on the back of the oven wall, pull the element out and unplug it. When the new one came, I did it in reverse. It took about five minutes. Ps: I did turn the breaker off first....

first I took the opportunity to clean the oven really well, Turned off the electricity at the breaker box, Took out the screw on each side and pulled out to view the clips they were attached to, they came off easily, I attached the new ones pushed in to place and reattached the 2 screws. Very easy, clip on connections and two screws to hold it in place.

Called Sears, repairman couldn't come for a week and would cost $129 for visit not including parts. Went to Sears repair store, part cost more than the part I had already found online and would take a week to arrive. Turn power off, lifted door of swing hinge, remove convection fan plate screws, remove screws on element bracket, remove from recess far enough to unplug connectors, reverse order to assemble.
