CLY2235BDB Magic Chef Range - Instructions

installation was very simple and took less than 5 minutes. first unscrew the burner cap and then remove the 2 wires. to replace reconnect the 2 wires to the new cap and twist cap into place-simple.

I used the other good burner assembly to isolate the problem to the igniters or the igniter block. I ordered both parts from Parts Select. They shipped the parts promptly and after 10 minutes of install time, the burners worked flawlessly.

The flame holder twists about 1/2 inch to left and lifts off. I removed the two screws that holds the igniter on and removed it and installed the new igniter.

turned burner counterclockwise and removed it reversed procedure and installed new one..

all i did was twist the burner counter-clockwise unplug 2 wires and installed the new ones, real easy, it took me about 7-8 minutes for the 4 burners, that was all, our stove is working like new now, albert

Simply remove the box containing the two right burners. Access the igniter by removing about 8 screws and pull the coupler for the igniter off with a pair of needel nose pliers. Very simple! Unscrewed the burner heads with a simple twist, unplugged the two wires from the old head, plugged them into the new one, then screwed that back in. First I removed the old burner head by twisting it counter clockwise by using wide channel lock pliers. When It completely came off, the burner head had deteriorated so much that it almost came apart. When I took off the 2 wires from the burner head it also easily came apart. It took 20 minutes to install.

Watched u tube video as supplied and followed instructions. Had trouble getting burners off so cleaned around edge of burners with fine bladed knife as suggested by other forum user and used oil filter type wrench to remove burner. There are three bumps on burner that hold it in place so need to turn anti clockwise to remove.

After some research in finding the information under the range hood, I did internet searches to find the appropriate replacement rack.
It fits great and we are thrilled to have the additional rack.

My local RV store informed me that this part was no longer made. Fortunately I discovered PartSelect.com and found the part I needed. Slipped it on and now I can use my oven!!!! Thanks!

I first switched the old burner to a new position and different ignitor wiring. The problem persisted in both places, so I bought a new burner assembly and now the burner lights immediately. Very happy and a very simple replacement.

I was looking at replacing the stove and saw the $1200.00 price tag! So I found this web site and paid $100.00 to fix my old one. It was very simple. I twisted off the old burners by sliding off the two connecting wires. Cleaned the area around the seating area of the burners. Hooked the wires on the new burners and twisted them back in ...
