removed two phillips screws. Unplugged electrical connections replaced unit from PartSelect. They sent holder cover and new bulb (surprise). Great store with great directions.

the flame spreader through the years, developed a hole above the glow coil causing the above trapped gas between the oven pan and spreader to ignite. by replacing the flame spreader the problem is gone and is now working properly. thank you, parts select for being there when i needed the part and also being reasonably priced. mike marino

Repair was very easy. 2 screws to remove the bottom cover inside the oven. 2 more screws to remove the igniter. Cut the wires to remove it from the back of the oven. 3 screws to remove the back cover. Un-clipped old igniter , pushed new one through the hole (from inside the oven). Connected and re-applied screws. Worked like a charm.

Put in a new foot / bumper. That's it.

Turned off power to the oven, Removed the oven light housing, installed new housing, turned power on and walla.

After calling a appliance repair person out because I could not find the module, he pulled the range out so he could remove the top, back cover. He used the correct nut-driver to remove the back. The module is attached to the cover and is exposed when you take it off. Just gently pry the module from the cover. When I saw where it was I pa ... Read more id the repair person for his visit and ordered the new module from PartSelect.com. When it arrived I proceeded to install the new module. I had to use pliers to grasp each connector going into the module and use a flat bladed screwdriver between the module and pliers to get each one to release. I took one wire off at a time and inserted each one into the new module, corresponding to the place it came out of the old module. When I had all the wires inserted into the new module I pushed the new module, using a flat bladed screwdriver, back onto the back cover of the stove. Reattached the back cover with the metal screws and pushed the range back into place. All burners are lighting as designed.

Removed bottom shelf from inside oven, turned it obj and replaced the oven deflector with only a screwdriver

New burner cap replaced old; just placed over burner; no tools required.

One suggestion: burner cap should have been shipped with thicker bubble protection (easy to do). It was minimally wrapped and placed in a thin, bubble envelope, risking damage in shipping process. Luckily, the burner arrived in tact and usable.

I cut the box open with a utility knife and removed the grill. I then opened the oven door and rearranged the two existing racks so that the third one would go in so they all have the same distance between each of them. I slid the new rack into position. Then I closed the oven door and went and sat down to think about the wonderful job I just did.

First and most important trun off curcit breaker. Use 1/4 inch but driver to remove socket (2) screws. Remove ground and hot wire clips from old socket, replace on new socket. Screw back into oven ceiling and turn on power. Reset clock and your are done. Very simple.

Disconnected the old socket ( 2 srews ) removed the two wires from the old socket, reconnected them to the new socket and reinstalled the lamp.

Just lifted old burner off with my fingers and replaced with the new one. What needs to be focused on here is the fact that Part Select has such a complete line of parts rather than the difficulty in the install.

I have a double oven and coincidently I had to replace the two Oven Light Assemblies.
I am really glad about your web site because once I got the number from my oven model you guys were the first ones that came up. Thanks to your prompt and reliable service my oven is back to its original state.

First, The hinges did not seem like the issue for my problem. The oven door did not sag loosely in the closed position, rather, it would come to a stop before being fully closed, so that the oven light would stay on and the oven computer would complain that the door was open. I would have to force the door closed and wedge it to keep it ... Read more closed. I finally ordered the hinges and compared them to the existing hinges and could not see any difference.

I opened the oven door part way, released the hinge catches, and then lifted the oven door off of the oven. Then I layed it down front side down, took pictures of the assembly, then removed the bottom plates and hinge attachement screws. I replaced the hinges, reinstalled the plate and then the door assembly, and it started opening and closing correctly.

It only required placing the new burner in the proper location.
