pulled old one out , cleaned the area & replaced with the new one.

the hardest part of the whole thing was finding the part... partselect.com made it easy. the part was delivery quickly using regular mail, and I was simply able to slide the new knob on.

Removed the old grease screen and cleaned the entire area thoroughly and replaced the screen

Removed old knobs and grease filter and replaced with new ones. Excellent service, parts arrived the day after I ordered them. Everything fit perfectly and was just as described on the website. I would certainly use PartSelect again for replacement parts on any listed appliance.

Simply pulledoff and threw away the old bad knobs and slipped the new ones on in thier place- four working burners now!

I had put up with a filter that got more and more raggedy every year, but I thought my 30 yr. old range/grill top was too old for me to find an replacement filter. What a great service you offer. Went broke purchasing the very simple part through you PartSelect Appliance Parts

Replacement parts fit as suggested by model number (newer parts are a little different but fit fine). Grates look a bit more modern but hopefully will work fine too.

Cleaned out the downdraft cove, inserted the new filter, and put old filter in garbage can. Laughing. Thanks. Wish you had a FAQ's hotline. I'd like to know if the radiant inserts fit the older coil-type models.

pulled it off, went to internet to see if I could find.
Did Find. Ordered and replaced.

Never really used the grill and needed 2 more burners so I just pulled out the grill assembly and plugged in the burner assembly, added the new pan cover and new grates and viola, I had a four burner stove. Still can pop the grill back in if needed. Much less expensive than buying a whole new cooktop.

I unscrewed the housing unit, pulled out the 2 connectors and here is the hard part, getting the metal washers off the small posts. First I tried needle nose pliers, then I used a rubber mallet to bang it out from the top side far enough to use a reg. hammer to pull it off from the underside. Finally I got it off enough to break the washe ... Read more rs with the needle nose pliers. Putting it back together was a breeze,took all of 5 minutes.

Repair is simple as long as you TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER first. After that, take off the cover over the switches (pull knobs off, remove 2 screws and lift off the cover), pull the bad switch straight up off the gas valve, pull the two wires off the switch, plug them back onto the new switch, place it back over the gas valve stem, rea ... Read more ssimble the cover and knobs, turn back on the circuit breaker, and verify that ignition switch works. Not a hard repair. (HINT: while you are waiting on the replacement part, you can light the bad burner by turning on the opposite burner ignition switch and using that "spark" to light the other burner.)
