The inside seal on my microwave door was burned.
  • kathleen from Olean, NY
  • Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
After watching a utube video on how to disassemble a microwave door by using a putty knife, I was able to get to the window glass and clean off the black smoke mark left by a seriously burned plastic seal. I snapped the layers of the door back together, peeled off the damaged seal and stuck on the new one. It worked perfectly and was a v ery cheap fix. Now I just have to make sure my children don't hide metal cake pans in the microwave again! :)
