CFMV145KB001 General Electric Range - Instructions

easy repair. removed seven screws on the underside of the microwave and lowered the bottom cover. removed two screws from the old motor, unpluged the wires. reversed this sequence to install. took less than 5 minutes.
I had previously read these steps others had posted on partselect so the job was a breeze!

took 6 screws out of the oven bottom
removed 2 screws that held the motor
diconnected the power plug.

plugged in power to new motor, replaced 2 screws that held it in place, replaced 6 screws that held bottom of oven

That was it...

We removed the vents from under the bottom and then the 4 screws and pulled the motor out. It was a no brainer to fix and the part came in alot faster than expected.

I took it apart and found a small electric motor was not working . I couldn't find it locally so I ordered it from partselect and it was here in just a few days.the repair was easy only a few screws and plug it in.

Most mirco wave have a plate on the bottom to protect turn table motor. This one had no screws - it has 6 tabs holding the protective cover. Used pliers to tear tabs. Used philip's driver to remove screw and turned motor to come out. Went back in reverse order replacing motor. Left protective plate off

Removed five screws from the underside of the mircowave. Disconnected the two prong plug in. Removed the one screw that held the motor and replaced with new motor. Reconnected the plug and replaced the five screws
Tested the result with a bag of microwave popcorn. Worked perfectly.

Straight forward repair. The item came quickly, and since I had taken the other motor out previously to test it, the instalation was a breeze. removed the screws holding the bottom panel, unscrewed the motor. Disconnected the motor. Connected new motor. Screwed in new motor. Replace panel

Removed 5 screws to allow lower pan to hang down. Unplug motor, remove 2 more screws that hold motor in and pull it out. and reverse process for reinstallation of new motor. Took all of 4 minutes allowing time to drink a beer while taking the new motor out of the box

First I removed the 6 screws that hold the bottom panel in place. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires and then connected the two wires to the new element. Secured the element in place and replaced bottom panel.

Removed the cover, 6 screws and then the motor, 2 screws. Unpluged the old motor and just reversed the process.

Removed one screw, installed new lense in lense frame, rescrewed. Done.

Removed the five screws that allowed the bottom panel of the microwave to drop down at an angle, still attached at the rear. Took the old motor out by removing the two screws holding it and replaced it with the new motor. Reversed to process to install the new motor. First I unpluged the power cord. Then I removed five screws on the bottom panel which will swing down to reveal the turntable motor. I removed the electrical plug from the motor and the two screws that hold the motor in place. Fasten the two screws that hold the motor back in place and reconnect the power plug to the motor. Swing the bottom panel back in place and secure with the five screws. Plug the power cord back in and reset the clock and you are ready to use the microwave.

This was a very simple do-it-yourself repair and information on the partselect website was very helpful. The order and shipping process was simple and fast. Anyone who knows which end of a screwdriver to use should be able to do this repair.
