CFES367DS3 Frigidaire Wall Oven - Instructions

Really easy to replace handle. However, because the new handle does not have the metal inserts to receive the attaching screws (!appearently a bit cheaper to make!), I am concerned that it will not last as long. I could find no reference to new attaching screws so used the old ones...hope it works!

watched a U-Tube video on this subject.....worked like aa charm!!

Trun off power, remove other knobs gain access to panel remove rubber connectors, which gave me access to switch. Study connections install new switch put panel back together,turn power back on run a series of test, all went well.

Moved the stove away from the wall, unhooked the electric cord and the gas pipe. In the oven, undid the two screws holding the probe. Removed two screws and removed the electrical cover panel from the stove back, disconnected the quick connect to the probe and pulled the probe from the oven. Reversding the proceedures, put the new probe ... Read more into the oven, hooked up the quick connect and replaced the electrical panel cover. From the front, reinstalled the probe with the two screws, reconnected the gas and the power cord and put the stove back into position. It works just fine now!

Used a screw driver to loosen 2 screws and the pulled the tabs off the old element and installed the new element. I am probably the most "unhandy " guy in the world but this was a snap. I am as surprised as anyone.

Square drive screws used throughout the oven since its manufactured in Canada. Shut power down to the range. Element fastener plate removed and 2 electrical terminals loosened. Used a pair of hemostats to hold on to the wires so as not to lose them to the interior back of the oven which was loaded with insulation. Connected the 2 wires to ... We removed the screws holding the old element. Pulled the old element out of the back of the oven and disconnected the connecters (they just pull off). Slipped the connecters to the new element and pushed the element back in the oven wall and installed the screws. The only hard thing was removing the screws, because they had been in the ... 1. Moved stove from against the wall. 2. Unplugged the power supply. 3. Removed the electrical pannel cover. 4. Disconnected the quick connect probe plug. 5. Opened the oven and removed the probe. 6. Turn off the breaker! Remove the switch knobs. Using a Phillips screwdriver remove the two screws on the affected switch. With a large tip Phillips remove the three screws at the edge of each end of the panel and place it bottom side up on the stove top. Look at the bottom of the switch. Compare those numbers with the numbers on the new ... Read more switch. Remove the wires one at a time and place them on the corresponding numbered terminal on the new switch. Be sure to put the mounting plate on the stem. Place the new switch in the cover plate and insert screws. Put cover over switches and insert the three screws on each side. Turn breaker on and turn burner switch on. Success!

Turned of breaker to stove. Removed knobs. Removed four plastic nuts under knobs. Removed five screws that hold swith plate in place. Removed two screws that held actual switch in place. The job was easy and the new swith looks to be of a higher quality. This ia a gee-wiz--when the old switch failed it failed to the full on position. I had a pot of chicken slowly simering on Lo went to the garage to work a project came back in to a house filled w smoke/alarms going off and the burner on full high-glowing! The old switch was dangerous!

After removing pots / pans in cabinet below cook top and turning off the power, I was able to remove the panel held by 2 screws. Pulling the old light out was just a little difficult as it came in pieces. New one popped right in, hooked up terminals, replaced the panel and that was it !!

I mistakenly took the two screws out of the front piece above the oven. Except for that the time would have been maybe 10 minutes. The knobs all four came off easy and so did the retainer nuts and the six screws holding the metal plate. I took the old switch out after turning off the power. Works great! Saved about one hundred and thirty dollars from what the repair service charged last time.

Turned off electrical breaker (double). Removed the switch handle, removed the plastic rings (special wrench) under the handles. Removed three screws up under the front of control panel. In order to service the switches on this model, remove all four knobs for the switches. This will expose the plastic nuts which hold the fascia panel secure. Remove those nuts and the fascia panel. Next use a phillips screwdriver to unsecure the steel panel which secures all four burner switches. Remove the faulty switch, taking note of e ... Read more ach color lead and terminal designation. The repair went relatively easy. I even cleaned all the layers of parts when they were removed from the glass panel. I have to thank the excellent customer service and super fast delivery. Overall a quite easy task and $$ saving as well!
