used a screwdriver. took very little time and effort

1. Unplug the power
2. Unscrew the two screws that hold the element
3. Pull the element out a little to expose the wires.
4. Gently pull off each wire (best done with needle nose) MAKE SURE THE WIRES DONT FALL INTO THE BACK OF THE OVEN.
5. Firmly seat wires back onto new element and replace screws
6. Bake stuff!

The video was very helpful.

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Your web site is one of the best and most helpfull service sites I ever used. Just wish that in the future you will ship parts overseas.

The brief comments on how to with the order was most helpful, no problems replacing frame. Quality is good I thought the price was very high for the parts, considering plastic and metal pieces, but then again compared to new stove reasonable. Remove pieces replace back in order removed.

I still don't have it back together! The first time we ordered the part the gentleman sent me the trim for the left side which seemed to be fine but while replacing it the old part (right side) broke. This oven probably was manufactured in the '60s when the house was built. The door doesn't just pull off like the newer models. These pins fit into small holes on the oven hinges. Read more eded to completely dismantle the door. It actually has 4 glass layers which had to be cleaned individually. The hardest part of all was actually remembering how to put it back together again. I put the door back on just as I had removed it, then took out the pins, and I was finally done! This was not an easy project, BUT the results look great.

This is a cook stove that is used 5 months a year. We have not fixed it yet because we are now in Florida the stove is in New York. We ordered that part just before we left NY for FL so the repair will be done in June of 2021.

take off back panel, simply unplug the old switch and plug in the new one. Simple

My husband unscrewed the bad switch and replaced with the new one.

Remove 2 screws inside oven holding element . Remove screws holding back panel. Plug wires (2) into new element.Install back panel . Done.

Unplugged the range. Opened the oven door and took out the shelves. Took the right screw out, but had trouble getting the left one out do to the age of the range. Read more hen tighten screws. Closed the door and plugged the range back in and turned the oven on and it worked perfect.

Replaced the oven light with a new one but it burnt out as soon as I turned it on. Therefore I decided a new socket may help.

My whirlpool apparently has the old style socket which is pictured in partselect part #PS12584564. The old style socket has to two metal arms that retain it against the metal reflector.

The ... Read more part that will come (#PS12584564) however is the new style that whirlpool has changed to, apparently. It is not as pictured. The socket and the reflector have different retention devices.

I used screw drivers to bend the two metal arms away to release the socket. Then I had to use allen wrenches to bend the reflector's retention tabs away.

Once I had the old socket, reflector, and lens replaced I just followed the video on partselect for part #PS12584564

Took off oven door removed all screws to get old hinges out. Replaced with new hinges and put the door back together.

use needle nose pliers to disconnect the element from the power supply. After disconnecting it was easy to repair.
