CE302BP2WJ01 Uni Range - Instructions

This was very simple I just snap the part on no tools required. it took less than 2 seconds.

First thing I did was to turn off the range supply breaker. There were two screws, one on each side, that held the lower element into place. I used a phillips head screw driver to remove the screws and pulled the element out for access to the wires. I pulled the connectors off of the element and remove it from the oven. I them put the new ... Read more element into place, attached the wires, replaced the screws and turned on the breaker. It was an easy fix.

Very easy---simply unplug the burners, remove the old pans and replace with the new ones

I was extremely pleased with the easy ordering and prompt delivery of parts that actually fit as they should!

Most of the job is simple fastener mechanics.
Use a nut driver or Phillips screwdriver. Remove rear panel.

Pull out control knob. If it is stuck, wrap a small rag around the back of it and pull the rag steadily.

Carefully match marked terminals on the replacement switch with those on original. Switch terminals ... Read more may not be in the same location. Replace wires one for one, one at a time.

Carefully select the correct knob filler for the switch post. Several are supplied. Proceed with logic and measure the shaft length and the filler length and type to match.

I removed the two element screws, one on each side. This was very easy and fast.
I then pulled the old element towards me about
three inches to expose the wires attached to each
end. The wires have a slide on terminal connector
so replacement is easy, but you must hold the
terminal connected to the wire then pull ... Read more the element off. Do not try to pull off the element by pulling on the wire you can cause damage to the
wire and create a new problem. Once the old element was removed I attached the wires to the new element by sliding the terminal connectors on each end and pushed them firmly into place. I then pushed the new element back and replaced the screws on each side and the repair was complete.The repair took all of about 5 min. The best part was I received the the new element from Parts Express the next day and had the oven working within 24 hrs.. The repair service could not do it that fast. Do it yourself, you can save a lot of money!!

Snapped the new part into the slot the old one had been in.The repair including opening and closing the drawer took less than a minute.

First I unplugged the the stove. I then unscrewed the two screw holding the element. Because I had read the other repair reports on the site, I was very careful in pulling the element out so I wouldn't lose the wires in the rear of the stove.

Remove old element by removing two screws on back wall of oven, pull attached wires out about 6" and disconnect. Reverse to install, very easy. The repair was straight forward and the video was a big help. I removed the oven racks and then used a 1/4" socket with a nut driver to unscrew the bolts at the back. Since this is a really old oven, the connecting wires were a bit difficult to remove from the bake element connectors. They seems kind of stuck, so I took a small, thin ... Read more screw driver and pried up one of the metal clamps of the connecting wire just enough to let me budge the connector to detach the bake element. Had to do that for both sides. Then I just put the new bake element in, attached the wire connectors, made sure the wires and the ends of the bake element were all the way back in their holes, screwed the screws back in, and then put the racks back in. It was really easy, except for the bit of a challenge getting the wire connectors detached from the old bake element connectors. Works now without catching fire. :-D

First of all I removed the top panel then removed the switch. I then took pictures of the switch & drew a sketch with all the info. Then I went to your web site, matched up the switch & ordered.
When the switch arrived I went thru the above replacing the bad switch.

was more of a job of splicing wires together than anything else. Loved the heat shrink electrical tubing
to put over the wires for insulation. used a hair
dryer. must buy more of that amazing stuff

pull out old burner, lifted range top change the terminal which took about 5 min. close top put new burner in and was ready to go. works great.

From learning the hard way on a previous repair, I opened the circuit breaker for the oven at the circuit box (arc welders use 220 volts also). Then using a nut driver, I removed the two retaining screws and pulled the bake element from the oven (about 3"). Then I gently pushed the element back into the rear wall of the oven and replaced the retaining screws. This procedure is extreamly easy and very straight forward, anyone could accomplish this task.

I removed the screws holding the element in place, pulled the element out, and one of the leads came off and dropped into the oven. I had to take the back of the stove off and feed the lead back through the hole into the oven.
