took oven base plate out. diconnected ignitor , put new clips on neutral wire as per instructions, inserted new ignitor, put everything back, worked ok.

Read more th the two screws, plug in the two wire clips to the safety valve just below the igniter and plug in the plastic clip with both wires going into it over in the corner of the stove, and replace the cover over that connection with the one screw, which you removed at the beginning of this process, and you're done.

I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... 1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

replaced the igniter with a new one

I just followed the instructions that came with the part I had no problem at all and I'm a 72 yr old lady so any one can do it.

My 1st thought was that the valve was bad but after watching a whirlpool video on how to trouble shoot I put an amp probe on the wire to the igniter and discovered that the amp draw was not getting high enough to open the valve.
