AW20M Admiral Washer - Instructions

Disconnect all water supply and unplug washer. Remove 3 screws on back panel of the washer. This will expose the pump unit. Detach belt on the bottom of the washer. Connect the belt to the pulley system on the bottom. Connect water supply and plug it in.

Pulled that sucker out from the wall and leaned him back just enough to prop a case a beer under it. Slid up under there with the biggest dust bunny I ever seen. tipped the washer back, laid on the floor, and wrapped new belt around 3 pulleys. everything works as before.

I had my 12 year old son climb to the back and he took off all the screws necessary in the back and took the part completely off. We ordered the part and waited for it to come in. We replaced the part, the screws and honestly, the only thing we had trouble with was replacing the small cover where the hoses stick out of the washer. Was ... Tilted machine back, put a paint can under it and did R & R with belts.

first removed panel from rear of washer removed hoses and drained water in them, removed the 3 screws and removed the belt then removed the pump. Replaced with new one and put back screws,hoses and belt. walaaa.... it works like new!!!!

Removed water lines and drain, removed back panel, removed drain lines from pump. Unscrewed 3 screws to remove pump. attached drain lines to new pump, screwed in new pump, reattached everything. Reinstalled belt (very easy, not like an altenator). done

Rolled the old one off and rolled the new one on.

I raised the top of the washing machine per video instructions, removed the screws, replaced broken hinges with the new ones. It was simple as that.

Easy repair - with the use of a phillips screwdriver, simply remove the old device and replace with the new

I used the putty knife to release the spring clips on the machine lid. They are about 3" in from the side of the machine. Then I lifted the top of the washer up holding the lid in place. I then used a screw driver (torx) to remove the hinge from the bottom of the washer top. The lid should come right off. Then I the removed the broken hin ... Read more ge pins from the back of the lid with a screwdriver and replaced with the new parts. There is a little tab that the pin fits in the lid to assure you have the pin installed correctly. Then I slid the hinge back on the pin and reversed the process reinstalling the hinges and closing the top of the machine over the spring clips and your done. Very easy repair that I completed in less than 15 minutes.

Removed screw, replaced hinge.

Removed front cover, identified leak, ordered part, saved over half of the cost on part, no service call fee. I feel great!
