AW20K2H Admiral Washer - Instructions

Removed lower rear panel by removing 8 screws. Then I removed the two hoses that are attached to the pump by removing the hose clamps with a pair of plyers. Read more e at the bottom of the washer and attached the belt onto the pulley. Then reversed the installation process. The washer had to be tipped forward slightly for this process and blocked (approx. 8 in.) to allow access to pulley. Very easy install, no help needed. Washer must be empty and preferable dry when task is done or water will be everywhere.

first removed panel from rear of washer removed hoses and drained water in them, removed the 3 screws and removed the belt then removed the pump. Replaced with new one and put back screws,hoses and belt. walaaa.... it works like new!!!!

Rolled the old one off and rolled the new one on.

Replaced the hose. two clamps and retainers. very basic repair

Turned water off,tilted unit forward,removed lower rear cover,removed belt,laid towels around ,removed inlet hose and exit hose off pump,removed 3 screws holding pump,removed pump and installed new one,reversed order of disassemble, has been running great ever since.

Turn water off at the inlet valve of hose you are replacing. Disconnect inlet hose the washer and let water drain out in a bucket. Then remove old hose. Replace new hose to inlet valve then washer . Use pliers to tighten both ends. Turn on water to check leaks at both ends of hose.

Unscrewed the front panel. Then took pump out & put new one in. . . . . Thank you part select. Com. . . Super fast shipping. . .

It was easy to replace the water pump

Reverse the process to install new pump
Unplug the machine
Place pad on floor to protect the machine from scratches
Lay front of machine on floor
Remove back cover (10 screws)
Disconnect 2 hoses
Remove 4 screws which secure pump to bottom frame
Remove belt
Remove pump

Took off belt and ran motor. No noise. Then took off drain pump and spun it by hand and felt rubbing on one spot. I figured the bearings were going bad, so I ordered the parts and replaced them.

My husband unhooked the water lines, unplugged the washer and remove the waste water hose, then we tipped it over and easy as pie the belt came off and the new one went right back on. I did not see any tears or breaks in the old belt, but it was stretched out a bit, and the washer is once again quiet. This also gave me an opportunity to ... Went to website, looked up make and model, looked at photo's discription, studied it, and then went in and removed front panel, turned off water, removed clamps holding hoses too dishcharge pump, mopped up water, and then just reinstalled new piece, the way the old came out, re attached belt to pulley assembly, turned water back on, and d ... The pump was easy enough to replace. Access panel in the back and 3 screws and it was off and back on in less than 20 minutes. It was putting the belt on that gave me the most trouble even though one of the pulleys moved to allow for easy replacement it did not move enough. Read more lly decided to place the belt on the two smaller pulleys and save the larger one for last and it went on with no trouble at all. Learn from my error =]
