Hardest part was figuring out how to get to the water valve. Turned out that the way in was from the top. All I had to do is remove two screws at the back of the top panel, and then unclip the front edge of the top panel (use a thin screwdriver to press in on the clips from the front of the machine). I had my boyfriend take the lid off ,then he took off the two old hinges,one was broken,and the he replaced both lid hinges,daving the good one. it was very simple and quick for him.

Removed access panel to expose pump, removed drive belt, and old pump, repeated the avove steps in reverse order, tested for leaks and proper operation.

My husband took out the 2 screws in the front panel and loosen the 3 nuts from the pump.

The parts was easily removed and the entire job tooked 30 mins.

raised the top of the washer to get at the front panel screws. Removed the front panel. Removed the cracked hose and installed the new one. Reinstalled the front and top panels.

I changed the piece easily

First I got everything I needed, unplugged the washer. Using the puddy knife I freed the top of the washer by inserting the knife about four inches from each side on front. I first changed the belt which helped but it still sounded like it was going to take off through the roof.....I did the pulley and bearing kit in hopes that it would do some good....it went really smoothly with no issues however it did not solve the problem....so it is working and I am going to just ride it out until it quits....thanks

Disconnected both power and hot and cold input water lines. Laid the washer on its front side for access to the bottom. Removed the small access panel from the back of the machine to remove the metal screws holding the pump in place. Removed the single drive belt. Changing the hinge was not difficult, but here's a hint: the top of the washer raises up if you pry it with a big screwdriver- be sure to wrap the screwdriver in a cloth so as not to scratch the appliance. I pulled washer out and removed filler hoses from water supply and drain hose and tilted it forward placing three short 2X4's under the washer to keep it tilted forward. Removed

1. Remove 1 screw holding each of 2 Hinges - use T15 driver. 2. Push tub to one side to get access to each screw from underside. 3. remove & replace broken Hinge Pin from Lid with T15 driver. 4. Drive broken pin out of the Hinge with a punch & hammer. 5. Install new Hinge Pin to Lid. 6. Add a little Vaseline to Hinge Pin & slide Hin ... Read more ge Pin into Hinge. 7. Unhooked the macine pulled out for easy access .removed drive belt rear cover plate ,vaccumed remaining water out thru drain hose with wet and dry vac. after doing some research I found out that a loose or slipping water pump belt could cause the water pump to not pump out the water correctly. Under the washer is the belt. All you do is have someone lift the front of the washer up enough that you can reach under and remove the belt. Then replace the belt back like you took it off.
