I simply removed the old switch by gently pulling down on the old switch with a screwdriver. When it was about half way out I just gently pulled down on the old switch and it popped out... Read more he connectors off so I used pliers. It worked perfectly.. When pulling off the old connectors, make sure you attach the new switch to the same tabs on the new switch... It was very easy to do and took under 5 mins.....The light switch works perfect....P.S. You should unplug the frig while making the connection just in case....Safety first....!!!

inserted a knife between the switch and the plastic interior in order to pop the switch out.
then took off the 2 wires on the old switch put them on the new switch and reinserted the switch into the plastic interior.

I took a chance and ordered a switch that is next to the top of the door. looked for how to remove it easily done in ten minutes works fine last long time.

First, I removed the 6 screws which hold the ice bin to the drum and the front cover. I then removed the screw which holds the door lever and bracket to the ice bin. Read more eful to place the blades on the table in the order they were removed. I then installed the new auger drum on the shaft and re-assembled everything in the reverse order. This was really easy for me because I had replaced the auger previously. (about 2 years ago)

The repair was super easy. It took all of 10 seconds. From ordering the part to repair, I would use part select 100%! Excellent company with excellent parts. Thank you!

Removed ice tray and unbolted front cover. Removed broken piece and snapped new ice deflector in place. Reinstalled front cover and put ice tray back into freezer. Cycled crushed ice, works great!

Removed the old ice maker by taking out three screws. Unplugged the electrical connection to the old ice maker. Replaced the old ice maker with the new one. Reconnected the electrical, replaced the screws, and reset the new ice maker. The replacement part has been working perfectly. This was an extremely easy replacement job!

Very simple fix, remove 3 screws, two connectors to the old switch

I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!

Why didn't I order this part and do the repair earlier? Very simple.

The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!

I just followed the excellent Video for both parts. The door gasket is tedious but doable, just take a deep breath and press on. Putty knife is handy to push edge of gasket under the plastic lip. The closer devices take 3 minutes - simple R&R. Check the videos - they're pretty clear and detailed.

Ordered Ice Bin Auger and changed with no problem. Found how to change on YouTube and followed video.

use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

The instructions in the package were not helpful. They wanted me to cut the wiring harness and described where to cut based on the wire colors. My wires were not the same color! I removed the light mechanism using a combination of a screwdriver, putty knife, and plain old muscle with my fingers! The wiring harness unplugged easily and th ... Read more e new one inserted. It was easy to push the whole assembly back into the door. I spent more time looking for something to cut the wiring harness with (and never did find it) than the whole job actually took without needing to cut anything!
