This roller pin is used with a refrigerator's roller.

When activated, the auger rotates and pushes ice out of the bin through the chute to the user.

When the icemaker shut off arm is high enough the ice maker will shut off and no more ice will be made until the level of the ice in the bin drops. Also the ice maker can be turned off by lifting the arm all the way to the top until in a locked position.
